Michael Savage Proposes New Political Party

“To dream the impossible dream, to fight the unbeatable foe,

To bear with unbearable sorrow, to run where the brave dare not go…….”

Michael Savage had told his listeners that he would investigate starting a new political party, probably after the first of the year. However, after watching the meltdown of the stock market, with its attendant loss of value to many investors, Savage announced last week that he had accelerated his plans and was now looking into what it takes to get a party going. Savage has seen the American dream disappear due to the contrived theft of the assets of We the People.

He has called a “code red” against the powerful gang that has sacked the people’s treasury.

Savage has overcome many personal and business obstacles. He is successful in his career, keeping millions of listeners tuning in just to see what he has to say on any given day. On a recent poll, which asked if he should run for president, the answer was “YES”! However, he has made it clear that he will not be running for any office, including president. He says he does not have the temperament or the ambition to do so. He will, however, be a big impetus behind such a party, and it will assure that it does not veer off into something other than what it starts out to be.

Savage’s motto has always been: “Borders, Language and Culture”. That will be the rallying cry for those who will join him. Savage has a way of inspiring people to action.

……”This is my quest, to follow that star,

no matter how hopeless, no matter how far.

To fight for the right without question or pause,

to be willing to march into Hell for a heavenly cause.”.....

Right now, voters are faced with a “Tweedle-Dum, Tweedle-Dee” choice for president. Both parties have lurched to the left. Neither will talk much about the social issues, which are still very important to a large segment of voters. On taxes, one even says he will not raise them, but it is impossible to take his word on it, given the state of the economy. What will keep all the social services going? Barack Obama claims he will make sure everybody has health care. Hillary did not get that done because it was recognized that the country could not afford it, as enticing as it sounded. The siren song of socialism is strong, however, and many will believe its promise.

There is a huge elephant in the room, and it is not the cute Republican icon. It is illegal immigration. You would not know it to listen to the two presidential candidates. It does not worry them at all. Barack Obama is for giving illegals amnesty. John McCain co-sponsored the McCain/Kennedy amnesty bill and gave it his all. In spite of this, Americans said “NO!” in overwhelming numbers. They burned up the Congressional switchboard, even shutting it down at one point. It doesn’t matter to Obama and McCain. What do these voters know, anyway? As Nancy Pelosi told the nation, after the “Big Bailout” of Wall Street, (although her own constituents let her know, overwhelmingly, that they did not want the bailout), they just did not understand the situation and why it was such a neat deal for them. It is this mindset that ensures that the illegal alien problem will continue to grow disastrously, but neither party will talk about it.

There are smaller parties, some of which have good ideas. However, they do not have the wealthy donors or the numbers to help them get their messages out. So they splinter their votes, instead of showing a solid front.

Savage now says that this will be his reason for living. This will envelop his considerable talents and test his will.

….”And I know if I’ll only be true to this glorious quest

that my heart will be peaceful and calm when I’m laid to my rest.”.....

What better way to spend one’s time and talent? America is aching for leadership, and finding none. Now, an immigrant’s son will remind us who we are, and where we came from. Michael Savage has thrown down the gauntlet. He invites others to join him. He will be ridiculed and cursed. He will have dirty tricks played on him. He will still be the “invisible man”, according to the so-called mainstream media, whose own stream is drying to a trickle. It is a good thing that he has had excellent training for this. He will not be intimidated or deterred.

He has no illusions as to how difficult this undertaking will be. Savage will do his part, but it is up to us to answer the question: Has the American Dream become the Impossible Dream?

It will be said that a new political party will never succeed. It will be said that Michael Savage is tilting at windmills. If so, those windmills and those naysayers are now on notice. En garde!

……”And the world will be better for this,

that one man scorned and covered with scars,

still strove with his last ounce of courage,

to reach the unreachable stars.”

The Impossible Dream, lyrics by Joe Darion, music by Mitch Leigh.
