This is what happens to the egalitarian impulse when the purveyors of public policy run out of other people's money. Of course this is middle class egalitarian policy, worthy of the compassionate conservatism of George W Bush and the UK's new, PM David Cameron.
In the current state of the union, there are only three political camps worth our attention: liberal, conservative and "Get out of my way!"
Far be it from me to get in the way of a woman's timely access to a loo!
One thinks that this latest egalitarian impulse might not run as far as that homeless, unbathed pedophile misogynist's claim too more than equal time in the very same loo.
