ACORN Nightmare: Whistleblower Anita MonCrief + American Conservative Union
On June 25, 2010, ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief proudly announced that she had "partnered" with the American Conservative Union (ACU) to track the activities of ACORN and its affiliates and linked to a new ACU webpage, www.ACUACORNAction.org. (http://anitamoncrief.amplify.com/2010/06/25/anita-moncrief-and-the-american-conservative-union-team-up-to-fight-acorn/).
At that webpage, ACU disclosed that reports of ACORN's death are premature and declared that it's "tracking the leaders of ACORN as they go out and create similar organizations under different names, promote election fraud, lobby for liberal issues and attempt to take more taxpayer money."
ACU acknowledged that it needs you: "Visit us at www.ACUACORNAction.org. Please tell us when you see an ACORN office changing its name or read about ACORN-related activities in your neighborhood. Click the names of the leaders below to learn their history and connections. If you see, hear, or read about the below individuals in your community contact us immediately ACUActionDesk@conservative.org."
ACU is Americaís oldest and largest grassroots conservative organization. Founded in 1964, it represents the views of Americans who are concerned with economic growth through lower taxes and reduced government spending and the issues of liberty, personal responsibility, traditional values and national security. As Americaís conservative voice, ACU is the leading entity in providing conservative positions on issues to Congress, Administration Officials, State Governments, the media, political candidates and the public.
Fittingly, the lead video at the ACU webpage--"Who Is ACORN Now?"--stars Ms. MonCrief and the leaders of the ACORN 8 are among the persons to be tracked.
The ACU webpage includes two other illuminating videos, "Socialism Obama Acorn Fraud and Maxine Waters" and "ACORN OBAMA FRAUD, OUR MORTGAGE CRISIS AND LIBERAL POLITICS PAID FOR BY TAXPAYERS."
These videos predate Ms. MonCrief's "Obama, ACORN and Stealth Socialism" (http://hotair.com/archives/2010/05/29/obama-acorn-and-stealth-socialism-dire-domestic-threat/).
In that article Ms. MonCrief explained:
"As an ex-ACORN insider and ex-radical who used Democrat donor lists to raise money for ACORN alter-ego Project Vote and designed the ACORN 2005, 2006 and 2007 Political Operations Year End PowerPoint presentations, I know that President Obama (for whom I now regretfully admit I proudly voted) was an ACORN guy for many years and realize that he became the instrument for the implementation of its stealth socialism agenda."
"Stealth socialism allowed ACORN to set the stage for Obamaís 'regime' as they called it internally. Wade Rathke was willing to fall on his sword in 2008 to protect Obama, and to attain what nearly 40 years organizing the country towards socialism promised. After the embezzlement scandal, ACORN board members and staff assembled at meetings across the country and as insiders revealed, and I testified about, 'fighting Capitalism' was listed as one of the things 'great about ACORN.'
"Obama has shown himself to be unrelenting in his quest to pass healthcare, take over American industries and weaken our national security. America canít afford to be fooled by increasingly obvious tactics of the Far Left. Itís time for the great majority of Americans to turn the tables back on the Far Left by getting involved and organized and voting out incumbents who vote against the traditional American way. We need a morning in America, but itís always darkest before the dawn."
Ms. MonCrief has exposed the true nature of the threat to the America Republic as only a disillusioned ex-insider can do.
Appreciative ACU wants to share the truth with the American people before it's too late.

Gaynor graduated magna cum laude, with Honors in Social Science, from Hofstra University's New College, and received his J.D. degree from St. John's Law School, where he won the American Jurisprudence Award in Evidence and served as an editor of the Law Review and the St. Thomas More Institute for Legal Research. The day after graduating, Gaynor joined the Fulton firm, where he focused on litigation and corporate law. In 1997 Gaynor and Emily Bass formed Gaynor & Bass and then conducted a general legal practice, emphasizing litigation, and represented corporations, individuals and a New York City labor union. Notably, Gaynor & Bass prevailed in the Second Circuit in a seminal copyright infringement case, Tasini v. New York Times, against newspaper and magazine publishers and Lexis-Nexis. The U.S. Supreme Court affirmed, 7 to 2, holding that the copyrights of freelance writers had been infringed when their work was put online without permission or compensation.
Gaynor currently contributes regularly to www.MichNews.com, www.RenewAmerica.com, www.WebCommentary.com, www.PostChronicle.com and www.therealitycheck.org and has contributed to many other websites. He has written extensively on political and religious issues, notably the Terry Schiavo case, the Duke "no rape" case, ACORN and canon law, and appeared as a guest on television and radio. He was acknowledged in Until Proven Innocent, by Stuart Taylor and KC Johnson, and Culture of Corruption, by Michelle Malkin. He appeared on "Your World With Cavuto" to promote an eBay boycott that he initiated and "The World Over With Raymond Arroyo" (EWTN) to discuss the legal implications of the Schiavo case. On October 22, 2008, Gaynor was the first to report that The New York Times had killed an Obama/ACORN expose on which a Times reporter had been working with ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief.
