NOW Will the American People Finally Learn About and Wise Up to Earlier Obama Lies?

There may be a belated silver lining to the Benghazi tragedy--exposure of politically motivated Obama lies about it may help many Obama supporters realize that he's fooled them and is not really whom they really want as President.

In an article posted on October 18, 2008 titled " Time for October Surprise To Expose Obama Lies" (www.webcommentary.com/php/ShowArticle.php?id=gaynorm&date=081018), I wrote:

"Can Obama and ACORN keep a lid on the whole truth about ACORN's relationship with Obama and the Obama presidential campaign up to Election Day 2008?

"Can The New York Times whitewash the Obama/ACORN relationship the way it did the Obama/Ayers relationship?

"Is there a Whittaker Chambers-type out there today who has seen the light and decided to do what's right?

If so, will 'Whittaker' be a white male this time?

"Wikipedia: 'Whittaker Chambers (April 1, 1901 – July 9, 1961)...was an American writer and editor. A Communist party member and Soviet spy, he renounced communism and became an outspoken opponent. He is best known for his testimony about the perjury and espionage of Alger Hiss.'

"Obama during the last of the three presidential debates:

'...with respect to ACORN, ACORN is a community organization. Apparently what they've done is they were paying people to go out and register folks, and apparently some of the people who were out there didn't really register people, they just filled out a bunch of names.

'It had nothing to do with us. We were not involved. The only involvement I've had with ACORN was I represented them alongside the U.S. Justice Department in making Illinois implement a motor voter law that helped people get registered at DMVs.

'Now, the reason I think that it's important to just get these facts out is because the allegation that Senator McCain has continually made is that somehow my associations are troubling."

"Obama is right...about the importance of facts.

"McCain is right...about Obama having troubling associations. (More right than he knows.)

"Obama's statement--'My only involvement I've had with ACORN was I represented them alongside the U.S. Justice Department in making Illinois implement a motor voter law that helped people get registered at DMVs.'--is a lie, not a fact.

"Yes, Obama represented ACORN in that lawsuit and the Clinton Justice Department predictably sided with ACORN.

"But that was NOT Obama's only involvement with ACORN.

"ACORN is the organization with which Obama has been associated throughout his adult life, as organizer, trainer, lawyer, funder and political beneficiary...and Obama's Achilles heel."

There WAS a a Whittaker Chambers-type out there--ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief--then a confidential source to The New York Times whom Times national correspondent Stephanie Strom called "a gold mine." She revealed damning facts about Obama while still hoping that he'd be a great President (she voted for him and proudly wrote about it immediately), but The Times preferred to promote the Obama campaign instead by concealing the ugly truth and MonCrief warily declined an invitation from Fox News, so Obama won.

Frank Salvato, "Benghazi: Progressives Rewrite History in Real Time" (http://emergingcorruption.com/2013/05/benghazi-progressives-rewrite-history-in-real-time/): "When the people we elect to public office are caught lying there should be consequences; a price paid for the cost of the deception. Keeping in mind that the four Americans who died in the slaughter of Benghazi – whose last moments on this earth must have been hopelessly tormenting – have already paid the ultimate price in the service of their country, it is fair to say that, so far, the only price Mr. Obama has been made to pay for his deadly political opportunism is to be re-elected to the Presidency on the wings of a lie."

EXACTLY!

That's NOT acceptable, but it is what happened when cunning stealth socialists set out to "fundamentally transform" the United States of America with Alinskyite tactics and the liberal media establishment promoted that instead of publishing the truth that did not fit that agenda.

In a perverse way, it is fitting that President Barack Obama won election and reelection with lies.

At least it shows that he didn't "grow" in office and doesn't deserve to stay there.

The Senator from ACORN became the President from ACORN and he's been pursuing the ACORN agenda to the fullest extent politically feasible (although not as fast as ACORN founder and Chief Organizer for 38 years Wade Rathke craves), from Obamacare to immigration "reform" to huge budget deficits to blocking the Keystone pipeline and funding boondoggles like Solyndra.

Rathke deleted it soon after I called attention to it, but his post celebrating Obams's second inaugural address copied from his website (www.chieforganizer.org) showed that he was delighted that Obama no longer needed to worry about reelection.

Rathke:

"New Orleans I didn't listen to President Obama's 2nd inaugural speech. I'm just sick to death of hearing him talk, talk, talk all of the time talking. But, I read the speech, and I'm heartened. Finally, this is a President for me at least right now, this minute, who is saying he is sick of hearing himself talk, too, and is ready for action. From the very beginning when he says, '...we are made for this moment...' he seems to finally understand the full weight of the opportunity and burden.

"We are fragile, time dated vessels of flesh and bone, heart and soul, moving every day closer to dirt and at greater distance from the sun. Finally, Barack Obama the man and the President may understand that this is also true for him, and if so, this is a relief that could offer resurgence for the country and our people. This is finally not about the dreams, but about the doing. Risks have to be taken. Deals have to be made. Chips have to fall. Waves have to be made. Lines have to be drawn and defended.

"This clear call for action, and its grace notes of King's 'urgency of now' and of 'Seneca Falls, Selma, and Stonewall' are more than the sky high rhetoric just made for speeches, but are the very substance of struggle, and Obama saying this has to finally mean that he understands this. In this speech there finally seems to be an understanding not simply of the gift having been the opportunity to be there and to have the opportunity, but a recognition that the true blessing is in the opportunity not simply to stand for something and to be a symbol, but to have been enlisted as a warrior with a prominent place in the battles of our times.

"The fights are many and there is comfort for people like me to hear that they finally include engaging poverty, immigration rights, love and marriage, women's rights, comfort for the sick and elderly, security, and the environment. Where have you been, Barack Obama? Are we finally going to find out what truly moves you and engages your passion? Are we finally going to meet the real Barack Obama?

"The Wall Street Journal got the picture, too, '...he sounded less like a man preparing for lofty flights, and a lot more like a man preparing for ground battle. His rhetoric was less about soaring above Washington's political system and more about conquering it, one small and hard-fought step at a time if necessary.' Amen!

"It is show time and finally Obama is ready for action.

"Hallelujah!"

The sad truth is that Obama's election and reelection based on lies about his relationship with ACORN and the Benghazi attack are national tragedies for which the liberal media establishment is largely responsible.

There may be a belated silver lining to the Benghazi tragedy--exposure of politically motivated Obama lies about it may help many Obama supporters realize that he's fooled them and is not really whom they really want as President.

Mitt Romney won't get a do over because Team Obama perpetrated a fraud on the American voters relating to America's second September 11 tragedy--the attack on United States "diplomatic facilities" in Benghazi, Libya eight weeks before Election Day 2012, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't look back.

MSNBC wants to "Lean Forward" and Hillary Clinton notoriously doesn't want to look back and have the real story told, but Americans need to look back and appreciate how Obama came to be elected President by lying to them and then tell him to do what President Nixon did--resign.

Of course Obama is more like another ACORN favorite, Bill Clinton, than Richard Nixon and will not resign even though he should.

He has written extensively on political and religious issues, notably the Terry Schiavo case, the Duke "no rape" case, ACORN and canon law, and appeared as a guest on television and radio. He was acknowledged in Until Proven Innocent, by Stuart Taylor and KC Johnson, and Culture of Corruption, by Michelle Malkin. He appeared on "Your World With Cavuto" to promote an eBay boycott that he initiated and "The World Over With Raymond Arroyo" (EWTN) to discuss the legal implications of the Schiavo case. On October 22, 2008, Gaynor was the first to report that The New York Times had killed an Obama/ACORN expose on which a Times reporter had been working with ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief.
