Fighting Toxicity and Restoring Good Health

Toxicity is a familiar word to most everyone. Everyone has toxicity and anyone who desires optimal health should take this subject very seriously. Toxicity -- bursting into our consciousness -- has led to the rapid development of a vast amount of cleansing programs in the marketplace.

Where does toxicity come from? Many places; more than you might guess in fact. Let's deal with the most obvious ones. Number one, the air we breathe. Pollution is all around us. I'm all for industry; it's what makes this country great but take a look at the black clouds of smoke that billow from the smoke stacks of factories. Next time you're stuck in traffic look at all the fumes from all the cars and compound this by the world's population 365 days a year, year after year after year! Has your car been washed recently? Drive around on a busy highway just after your car is washed and then run your finger along it and see what you find?

You have seen the infomercials and read the articles. You have heard the stories of incredible cleansing products making obnoxious claims. You may have believed the yarns about four-foot bowel movements and the cleansing programs that will do it all -including curing your cancer and growing hair on your head.

The fact is this, there is no such thing as a cure-all and much of what you hear and read is more hype than health. Kylea invites you to learn a simple, balanced approach to dealing with toxicity.

Water supply. A good way to commit suicide is to go to your neighborhood pond and have a drink. Tap water? A slower form of suicide. With the amount of chlorine and metals in out tap water and considering we consume pools of it over a lifetime, it is no wonder cancer, heart disease and chronic diseases are epidemic in recent decades. You drink bottled water you say? Great idea. Keep it up, but what do you shower in? Do you eat fish? How about the water that is used for the crops you eat and the fruit trees? Do you get the picture?

The next one is not food. Not yet anyway. This one may surprise you. What if I told you that the number one pass-time in America is toxic? No, baseball is not toxic but non-activity is. That's right. Americans are the world leaders in the disease known as couch-potato-itis.

How is this toxic? The largest organ of elimination in our bodies is not the colon, but rather our skin. The skin and the millions of pores are designed to release the poison that your body has filtered out. It does this by releasing toxic moisture from your pores and toxic hydrogen and oxygen through your breath. Your breath is not foul because of the absence of Tic Tacs. It is foul because it is toxic poison. Ah... now we begin to see why exercise is so key. Exercise opens the pores and dumps buckets of foul poison out of your body. That is why sweat does not smell like perfume. Exercise also speeds up your breathing to release high levels of toxicity from your breath.

The average American spends $3.65 per day on chips, candy, pop, and tobacco. Ask most Americans to spend that on supplements or to pay the difference for organic produce, and they cry "SNAKEOIL"! or "FANATICS"!

The food lobby industry has done their job very well indeed.

Our lunchmeats are riddled with industrial chemicals to make them prettier and last forever. Much of our bread is baked bleach-flour, water and sugar. Our snacks are inundated with re-cooked oils that kill everything remotely healthy about them. Our animals are drugged with antibiotics and shot-up with hormones to make them grow quicker. They are forced to eat food (and I use that term loosely) that is genetically modified. God never designed them to eat the stuff we give them! Perhaps you may not know this, but livestock were never supposed to eat grain. They were designed to eat grass! Have you ever seen a cow picking the kernels from corn? Than why do we stuff them with it? Because it makes them grow bigger and fatter and does so far more quickly.

The food we gorge ourselves on today is mostly chemicals and naked calories. But the chemicals have to go somewhere. If we aren't eliminating them properly then where do they go? Actually, they leak out of our colons and into your blood stream and other organs. This is eloquently referred to as "Leaky Gut Syndrome".

If you care about yourself and your loved ones then you should care very deeply. The yellow sponge cake, the double cheeseburger and the biggie fries, all washed down with the caffeine-laden, corn syrup, phosphate soda actually does more than just make your jeans tighter. Eventually all the delicious-tasting chemicals and poisons wind up in your blood. Your white blood cells (the soldiers in the body) recognize these as foreign invaders and set out to destroy them.

Problem solved -right? For the moment. But we only have so many white blood cells. It's true that they are designed to destroy viruses, bacteria, parasites and cancer cells. But if the food we eat -- the glazed donuts for breakfast, biggie fries for lunch and mystery tacos for dinner -- the very thing that is supposed to PROVIDE nutrition, is keeping our white blood cells working overtime, what happens when we are exposed to bacteria, viruses and cancer cells?

Exactly. Little is being done to take care of these because there are simply not enough soldiers! The foreign invaders that cause disease are being fought with water pistols while the machine guns (white blood cells) are shooting the French fries. Food is indeed a primary reason for toxicity and can wreak devastation in the body!

Does this mean I can never eat fries again? No. It means you must treat your body like a bank account. A healthy bank account is dependent on balancing withdrawals and deposits. No different with your body. For every withdrawal (fries) there must be a deposit (elimination and nutrition). If you keep a positive balance then you stay healthy and happy. If the account is overdrawn you start to feel the effects. At first it may simply be fatigue, depression, obesity, poor digestion and other non-diagnosable (sub-clinical) symptoms. But over time, the symptoms evolve into a diagnosed, clinical disease. Left unchecked the body's bank account becomes hopelessly overdrawn until bankruptcy occurs. At this point it becomes a crisis and crisis-medicine is the only option.

All right, enough bad news for one article. There is very good news indeed. You can counter-balance the challenges of the toxic world we live in with some simple cleansing solutions that will get the body's bank account back to where you can write checks again. And, it does not mean that you have to wear sackcloth and ashes and eat tree bark.

Let's talk about cleansing and detoxifying but let's agree to leave the hype and hyperbole out of the equation. There's enough of that already. Friend, Kylea Health and Energy advocates a life-changing concept known as "Simple Balanced Health". That applies to cleansing as well. We consider a good cleansing program to be an absolute must in the world we live in. We invite you to consider the choices and learn about cleansing programs so that you can find one that is ideal for you!

Let's start with basic guidelines. When purchasing a good program one has many questions. How much will it cost? How long will it take? How much time per day should I spend doing it? What will the effects be on my bowel movements? What herbs are good for cleansing? They are all good questions.

Many programs claim to be "everything but the kitchen sink in just two capsules". They have a whole bunch of nutrients that make the label very attractive, but each nutrient has very little potencies. This is usually a "price-driven" product and can be a as little as $35-$40. Our advice is to save your money. You will get very little benefit from these.

The other extreme is the fanatical approach. These are the programs that have five or six items including powders, pills, suppositories hoses and so on. They will cost hundreds of dollars and are unrealistic for the average person. There is a better way. There are comprehensive programs that are realistic to do and can run between the $70- $100 price range.
