The Arab and Israeli Story in Song

Sometimes the lie becomes so real in the minds of some people that all normal people can do is laugh. In this spirit, I offer this short parody of the Beatle’s song “Hello, Goodbye.”

Sometimes the lie becomes so real in the minds of some people that all normal people can do is laugh.  In this spirit, I offer this short parody of the Beatle’s song “Hello, Goodbye.”  It is intended to be just for fun – to laugh at things that ought to make us cry – and anyone is welcome to sing it on the radio, to send it to friends, to make it into a parody, or just to hum it in the car.

You say die,
I say no,
You say kill,
And I say no, no, no, oh no!
You say Jihad and I say Shalom,
Shalom, Shalom,
And all the while you say Jihad
I say Shalom,
Shalom, Shalom,
And all the while you say Jihad
I say Shalom,
You say die,
I say no,
You say cry,
I say live and grow, oh no!
You say Jihad,
And I say Shalom,
I don’t know why you say Jihad,
To my Shalom,
You say curse,
I say bless,
You say worse,
And I say less distress, oh no!
You say Jihad and I say Shalom,
Shalom, Shalom
And all the while you say Jihad,
I say Shalom,
Shalom, Shalom,
And all the while you say Jihad,
I say Shalom
Shalom, Sha, Sha, Shalom,
Shalom, Sha, Sha, Shalom,

I dedicate these lyrics to those people whose only crime is to wish to live in the land God promised them - a tiny sliver of coastal land on a large planet – and to live in peace with their neighbors.
