The Senate should censure Hillary for calling our soldiers pedophiles, drug addicts and sociopaths.
Truth has died and the Left has become swallowed in the black hole of Sinisterism, from which there is no escape. Let the rest of us not be lost with them.

Hillary Clinton, whose cackle suggests a true Sinisterist, does not really pretend to stand for anything beyond what the Inner Party in 1984 stood for: power at all costs, power for the sake of power, persecution for the sake of persecution, pain for the sake of pain. If she gains power, she will never relinquish it.

While Democrats and the drive by media focus relentless attention on the misquoted Rush Limbaugh referring to actual phony soldiers as real soldiers in Iraq exercising their constitutional right to disagree with the President on Iraq, Republicans ought to be focusing attention on Hillary Clinton referring to our combat soldiers in Iraq as pedophiles, drug addicts and sociopaths. This sort of despicable comments about the soldiers who shed their blood to keep us free is beyond the pale. If Democrats are unwilling to censure her for those comments – if they are willing to go beyond that and even nominate Hillary – then any thinking American has to wonder whether or not it is possible to be a patriot and a Democrat. This is, of course, what Rush has been enduring for over a week. As a conservative, I do not need to lie about what Leftists say. Hillary, to the best of my knowledge, has not called our troops in Iraq pedophiles, drug addicts and sociopaths. Because I believe in the truth and because I believe in God, I will not pretend (beyond the title of this article and the first two paragraphs) that she did. But it is because of my belief in truth and my belief in God that I am a conservative. It is impossible anymore to be a Leftist and to either belief in truth or to believe in God. The lust for power trumps every decent human instinct. The denial of objective reality trumps every cognitive impulse. It is perfectly legitimate to argue about whether America should have invaded Iraq. It is perfectly legitimate to question whether inciting a revolution in Iran or trying to oust Assad in Syria was more important in fighting global terrorism than trying to establish a democracy in Iraq. It is even perfectly legitimate (although wrong) to take the position of Ron Paul and pretend that we can live in America without involvement in entangling alliances. Ron Paul, whatever one thinks of him, is a man of honor. Once the Left had people of honor. It is unthinkable that a very liberal Mike Mansfield would have ever permitted an ad hominem attack on an individual commentator of any persuasion in a Senate resolution. It is unthinkable that Scoop Jackson or Hubert Humphrey would not have strongly opposed that sort of resolution. It is unthinkable that Speaker Carl Albert would have permitted such a vote, even though he was a fairly liberal Democrat. But the Left has become the haven of Sinisterism, the utter lust for power that has banished God from human consciousness. As Dostoyevsky wrote more than a century ago, “If God is dead, then everything is permitted.” The Left has been trying to ban God for a long time, and the proliferation of openly atheistic books is evidence of that. Rush as referred to his nonexistent negative comments about phony soldiers as “Kafkaesque” and “Orwellian.” That is precisely correct. In Kafka wrote in his stories of a reality without meaning and of punishments for nonexistent or never mentioned crimes. Orwell, in his masterpiece, 1984, goes even further. He describes with uncanny prescience exactly the sort of America we will face if gangsters like Hillary gain power. Is there any reason to believe that she would willingly relinquish power? Is there any reason that she would not try to turn her party into what it was when racist Democrats utterly dominated the South for almost a century? As Orwell wrote of the Inner Party in 1984: “The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake… We are different from all the oligarchies of the past, in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just round the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means, it is an end…The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power” Consider how close the Democrats came to stealing the 2000 election. Consider how CBS News tried, using criminally forged documents, to steal the 2004 election. Those who believe that in 2008 that their own government planned 9-11, a surreal lie that Americans have never believed about our government before. Is there any question that an insatiable hunger for power – and a resolve never to surrender power again – motives the Left (really, the Sinisterists, because “Left” itself is a myth – the so-called Left cares no more about the poor than the Inner Party cared about the Proles in 1984)? We are facing THE crisis in the experiment of America. Our nation is divided as it has never been divided, not even during the Civil War when noble men like Robert E. Lee led the South. We are as nearly divided along the lines of good and of evil (or indifference to morality) as at any point in our national history. Our enemies are not al-Qaeda or radical Islam or resurgent quasi-Marxism (a religion which no one believes is true anymore.) Are enemies are our fellow Americans who find the American Dream, the hope of mankind, to be “An Inconvenient Truth,” and who are resolved to wage a civil war which will tear our Republic apart and, if they win, destroy it forever.
