Keep The Adults In Charge

This election we have a choice. We can accept the unchallenged lies and biases of the mainstream press and dutifully elect enough Democrats to put Congress in the hands of Ms. Pelosi and Mr. Reid, or we can reject the politics of negativism and the party of no solutions and keep the Republicans -- the adults -- in charge. Despite their weaknesses and shortcomings, Republicans are far preferable to whiny Democrats who are driven by a desire to wield power and "get even" for their imaginary grievances of past elections.

This election is too important to "go with the pack" ... the "pack" that has been artificially cobbled together by deceit and repetitive lies put forth by the mainstream media and the American Left, funded by George Soros, and buttressed by the likes of Michael Moore and the rest of the Hollywood Left.

For the past six years we have heard nothing contructive from Democrats. Think about it. This is what Democrats have been all about since the election of George W. Bush:

  1. Claims that the 2000 election was a fraud and that Al Gore won Florida (despite Gore never being ahead in the polls at any time during the vote count on election night!).

  2. Claims that the Moynihan plan endorsed by President Bush that would improve Social Security by allowing the voluntary investment of a small portion of Social Security funds in the American capitalist economy was a "risky scheme" ... at a time when the Dow Jones index was in the mid 8000s (it is now near 12000, a rise of nearly 50% ... some "risky" scheme, eh?).

  3. Claims that, despite virtual unanimous Democrat support, Bush should not have gone to war in Iraq.

  4. Claims that our economy is poor despite it's being robust and performing better than any other major economy, including the entire economy of Europe.

  5. Claims that Bush "lied" (a lie in itself) about the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

  6. Attempts to link what has become the least deadly of any US military action with the "quagmire" that was Vietnam (thanks to the Democrats under Lyndon Johnson who handcuffed the US military and tried to run the war from Washington).

These are but a few examples of the deceit and lies that have been forthcoming from the Democrat Left and their media friends.

The constant drumbeat of negativism has created a false impression among many who do not follow politics and who, quite frankly, find the whole arena of politics unsavory (with good reason, one could argue).

But today we have an opportunity to reject the politics of lies, deceit, and negativism.

We can reject billionaire George Soros and the Hollywood Left led by Michael Moore.

We can reject the hysteria about perfectly natural climate variations that the old Gore-Clinton followers have tried to exploit through their constant misrepresentations and ignorance of historical scientific evidence.

We can reject the whiners who must lie in order to pursuade because the truth will expose their empty claims.

We can reject Democrat politicians whose activities have supported Muslim terrorists whose Jihad is aimed at killing every single non-Muslim on Earth.

We can recognize that putting the liars in charge of our freedom and safety will dramatically increase the risk of danger from terrorist attacks.

We can recognize that Bush was right to facilitate the revoluton in Iraq, a revolution that has resulted in sentencing Saddam Hussein to be hanged for his murderous regime that killed thousands of innocent women and children during his reigh of terror.

We can recognize that it would be insane to "cut and run" as the Democrat Party proposes.

We can vote Republican and keep the adults in charge.

We cannot afford to allow the extreme Left wing of the Democrat Party to be successful in their attempt to take power as a result of a campaign of lies.

Do the right thing. Stand up for honor, integrity, and truth. Do not be a part of the problem. Vote intelligently. Reject the Leftist Democrats. You have the power to do the right thing by voting Republican today.

No excuses. Just do it!

Biography - Bob Webster

Author of "Looking Out the Window", an evidence-based examination of the "climate change" issue, Bob Webster, is a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s). He is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.

A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
