Change for the Sake of Change (Updated)
What "change" really means to Obama. Why you should vote for Obama.

This is an update of a recent commentary that had contained material from news reports that were subsequently found to be erroneous. Updates include added material reflecting Obama's 2001 radio interviews in which he assailed our Constitution as being flawed for failure to require government to redistribute wealth.

There are many reasons why someone might vote for Barack Hussein Obama.

Here are the most compellling:

  1. If you are a socialist, a Marxist, a communist, an anti-capitalist, or an anti-American terrorist, then you should vote for Obama.
  2. If you want to vote for the same candidate supported by Marxist Saul Alinski, unrepentent terrorist William Ayers, anti-capitalist billionaire George Soros (who made his money in currency speculation), anti-American anti-White racist Rev. Jerimiah Wright, Pro-Palestinian anti-Semite Rashid Khalidi, brutal dictator Hugo Chavez, virulent anti-White racist Khalid al-Mansour, former KGB chief and current Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, and every other anti-capitalist or anti-American of any notoriety, then you should vote for Obama.
  3. If you believe the role of government is to provide you with whatever you need, then you should vote for Obama.
  4. If you believe government should "redistribute" the wealth of its citizens so that wealth is distributed "from each, according to his abilities; to each, according to his need," then you should vote for Obama.
  5. If you want to support someone who has gone to great trouble to hide his college years (he has prohibited colleges he went to from releasing any information about him), refuses to release his Illinois Senate office records, refuses to release his medical records, and who has ignored lawsuits seeking information to validate his eligibility under the U.S. Constitution to be President, then you should vote for Obama.
  6. If you want a President who has surrounded himself with anti-capitalists, anti-Americans, violent unrepentant terrorists, anti-White racists, socialists, and Marxists for at least the past twenty years, then you should vote for Obama.
  7. If you want to support someone who has personally given over $100,000 and whose campaign has given more then $800,000 to ACORN's "get out the vote" campaign (that has submitted hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of false registrations in key battleground states) for the sole purpose of overburdening the vote process in key states so that fraudulent votes are much more likely to be counted, then you should vote for Obama.
  8. If you think style is much more important than substance and how something is said is more important than what is actually said, then you should vote for Obama.
  9. If you want your Bush tax cut repealed so that you'll be paying more in taxes, then you should vote for Obama (who has promised to do just that, all the while claiming he won't "raise your taxes" -- he'll just eliminate Bush's lowering of your taxes).
  10. If you want a President whose word means nothing (Obama claims he "won't raise your taxes" but at the same time he promises to remove the Bush tax cuts, thereby raising your taxes!) and who carefully constructs what he says so that when he is deceiving you, you won't know it, then you should vote for Obama.
  11. If you want to support someone who has goon squads dressed in Army fatigues and goose-stepping into schools to intimidate others into supporting Obama, if you support someone who encourages people to "get in your neighbors face" about the election (intimidation), then you should vote for Obama.
  12. If you think someone is ready to be the Chief Executive of the United States who has no executive experience, has less than an aggragate five months in the U.S. Senate, and who cannot identify one significant legislative accomplishments, then you should vote for Obama.

  13. If you want "change" that reflects Obama's view that our US Constitution is flawed and needs to be "reinterpreted" by Supreme Court Judges he will appoint who will empower government to redistribute wealth, and who will ignore their oath to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution and create government "rights" at the expense of your freedoms, then you should vote for Obama.
If you find these reasons to vote for Obama offensive, you have an alternative available.

The only question then, is whether you have the courage to do what is right.

Consider that:

You get the picture.

"Change" for the sake of "change" isn't always good. Especially when that "Change" is likely to turn "Hope" to "Despair".

Biography - Bob Webster

Author of "Looking Out the Window", an evidence-based examination of the "climate change" issue, Bob Webster, is a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s). He is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.

A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
