Scientific Ignorance = Political Insanity
Our impatient society is about to commit economic suicide thanks to a scandalous scam.

Wrongly convinced greenhouse gas emissions from humans are causing "global warming", the new president is doing everything he can to please enviro-zealouts who know little about real climate change. We must never confuse passion with knowledge. Nor must we confuse good intentions with good policy.

From Bloomberg news service:

The vast majority of scientists who have spoken out on the subject (more than 31,000, see Global Warming Petition Project) and American opinion is shifting to support real science rather than the Gore/IPCC pseudo-science that claims human emissions of greenhouse gases are causing "catastrophic" global warming. The truth (and real climate) are telling a much different story.

Why the pseudo-science of anthropogenic global warming (AGW) is a scam:

Conclusion:  The IPCC/Gore AGW theory is a scam.

There is much more to support this conclusion than I've presented here (see notes below). However, the real danger now is that the small band of vocal scam-artists who continue to try to stifle scientific investigation that resoundingly refutes their "global warming" theory are having their way with our not-too-scientifically-bright Congress. Having put back into office most of the political hacks who have turned our Congress into their own "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" private club, we will now be subject to the poor judgement and political games these scientifically illiterat legislators foist on our weakened economy. The result could be fatal for years to come. Yet politicians deem it more important to curry favor with environmental extemists, who, like themselves, are equally scientifically-challenged.

We must never confuse passion with knowledge. Nor must we confuse good intentions with good policy.

The new administration needs to step back and pay attention to the real worldwide scientific community (as well as obvious real world weather and climate observations) before rushing headlong into a highly counter-productive scheme that will benefit few and cost many. That cost will be borne by the people in terms of reduced standards of living, more costly products, greater unemployment, and all the negative consequences of these conditions.

This "global warming" political insanity must be stopped before it is too late. Call or write your representatives in Congress. Call or write the new President. Tell them you have grave concerns about programs designed to cut greenhouse gas emissions when there has never been a time in Earth's climate history when greenhouse gases were a contributor to climate change. Indeed, according to the best understanding of science, greenhouse gases cannot play a major contributor to climate change.

But don't stop with contacting politicians. If you are a member of an enviornmental organization, speak out to them. Let them know that it is unconscionable for them to be seeking federal grants and contributions from the public by using scare tactics associated with the alarmist global warming scam. Let them know that they will be held accountable too.

If people do not get involved and take a strong stand against this insanity, we are in for a very long rough siege.

Biography - Bob Webster

Author of "Looking Out the Window", an evidence-based examination of the "climate change" issue, Bob Webster, is a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s). He is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.

A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
