Democrats and ACLU Use MLK Day to Trash Bush/Republicans

As the ACLU, its partner-in-crime CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) and 2000’s failed presidential candidate (Al Gore) used Martin Luther King Day to bash Bush and stop the NSA (National Security Agency) from fighting terrorists, probable Democrat 2008 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton used the day to sling racist comments against both President Bush and Republicans, in general. What started as a day to honor the memory of one of the US’ most outstanding men has turned into nothing more than nasty political meanderings that the Democrat Party uses to demean its ostensible political enemies.

The ACLU and CAIR have again partnered with one another to file a lawsuit against an agency of the US government and President Bush—this time the NSA for having the audacity to follow President Bush’s “arrogant” order to protect the American people from the terrorists that the ACLU is working to protect. The ACLU is, again, at cross-purposes with the United States and the American people.

Note: As CAIR is the former “Islamic Association of Palestine” that was founded by Hamas terrorist Mousa Mohammed Abu Marzook (who was deported from the US) it’s no wonder CAIR is involved in attempting to stop US anti-terrorism measures.

Senator Hillary Clinton used the day to beat up President Bush, all Republicans and to enflame her black Democrat audience at Canaan Baptist Church in Harlem, when she said that the Republican majority was running the US House of Representatives like a plantation: "When you look at the way the House of Representatives has been run, it has been run like a plantation—you know what I'm talking about!" Ms. Clinton went on to say: "It has been run in a way so that nobody with a contrary point of view has had a chance to present legislation, to make an argument, to be heard. The Senate's not that bad, but it's been difficult. It's been difficult." Huh???

Note: Gee—as a former First Lady (I use the term “lady” advisedly), a current Senator and a Democrat presidential hopeful—I would have hoped that Hillary knew that the people elect the majority party. As such, the people expect those they voted in to follow what “we the people” want them to do. I guess this is another one of those Democrat sayings: “The people’s votes don’t count. What counts is the intent of the Democrat leadership—not the people!” And now sadly, like Howard Dean, Hillary Clinton has members of her apologist-entourage explaining what she really meant to say! Is this what we want in a POTUS? Yikes! What happens when she makes a statement to Iran that’s unclear? I guess we won’t have to worry about it—the missiles would already be on their way.

Then there’s poor ol’ “Algore”. Next to John Kerry, don’t you find him to be one of the angriest and saddest people you’ve ever heard? Speaking before the leftist “American Constitution Society”, Al screamed and screeched before lowering his voice in an attempt to make a very important point. Amongst other irrationalities, Al said: “As we begin this new year, the Executive Branch of our government has been caught eavesdropping on huge numbers of American citizens and has brazenly declared that it has the unilateral right to continue without regard to the established law enacted by Congress to prevent such abuses.” Comment: No, Al. The NSA program designed to intercept terrorist communications, was “outed” by your people—an angry Democrat former CIA employee and the NY Times. Al went on to say: “It is appropriate that we make this appeal on the day our nation has set aside to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who challenged America to breathe new life into our oldest values by extending its promise to all our people. On this particular Martin Luther King Day, it is especially important to recall that for the last several years of his life, Dr. King was illegally wiretapped-one of hundreds of thousands of Americans whose private communications were intercepted by the U.S. government during this period.” Comment: No, Al. You’re wrong again. First of all, to my knowledge Dr. King was not a terrorist. Then, there’s the ever-present problem of the person who approved spying on Dr, King. He was a verifiable Democrat HERO—former US Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy—President Kennedy’s brother. After these continuing inanities from the Democrat Left—there’s just no point in my including anything else from Algore’s rantings.

One item that I do find extremely troubling, however, is the recent comment from Dick Morris that the country is moving toward a more liberal position. If true, this is frightening—very frightening indeed! And—if true—these are the types of less-than-sane people with which we will have to contend. I have more faith in the American people than to believe they would actually buy what the Left is attempting to sell them. But, in regards to our current “leadership” Morris is right. It seems that the longer people from either political party are in Washington D.C., the more corrupt (and therefore liberal or leftist) they become.

The only hope “we the people” have is to vote in only conservatives—and resurrecting the idea of term limits wouldn’t hurt, either.
