"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
There is a reason that this is the very first amendment to the Constitution. To know why, all you have to do is read it. And then to hold true to the values that it stands for you have to care. And that is where the problem lies. For many politicians in office today they may know what this statement says but they do not care. And to insure that it does not matter they have been busy appointing judges that don't care about it either. Let me give you one more statement that means more than the First amendment to the Constitution. It is the last statement of the bible.
Revelations 18-21 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. I Am Coming Quickly He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Do I think that reading this statement will turn those who do not care about the constitution and are busy trying to rid America of it? Not really! Because those that don't, do not care about what this last statement of the bible says either. But, and this is as big of a statement as it get. If we as a nation will not abide by Gods word what makes anyone think that he will allow any man made document to stand. People are quick to scream about their rights being violated while at the same time not caring about the rights of others. The Constitution as a document does not cause anyone to care about others. There has to be something implanted inside us to cause us to care. God's spirit inside of us is what cause's that to happen. Without His spirit the bible tells us that it is impossible for that to happen. We by nature are self-centered individuals. And those that are busy trying to rid America of the Constitution and the bible are proving it every day. But let me ask you this question. Do you really think that it matters to God if you have a problem with His word? Just think about it. And after that, read what the bible has to say. Don't just set there with your hatred of what the bible says. Read it. Because if you don't care about what it says, you are not going to care about what the Constitution says. Unless for some reason that you are in trouble with law enforcement and you are screaming about your rights being violated. But by then you have been busy violating others rights and you have proven my point that without God's spirit living inside of us, you don't care about anyone but yourself.
I can go on and eventually will in other articles but I just want to make one statement very clear with this article. Congress can attempt to pass trillions of laws to rid America of God's word. But as arrogant as they are, do they really think any law they pass will change any stroke of God's word? The last statement of the bible makes it very clear that those that attempt to do so will have no part in His kingdom. And if America continues to walk around with blinders on pretending that His word does not matter, then what makes you think that the Constitution means anything to God? America is headed down the same path that Nazi, Germany did. It is evident every time another socialist law is past. These laws subvert the Constitution and attempt to place the government on the thrown. There are those that claim that we must have separation of church and state. That is a topic for future discussion but the point I will make here is that if you separate morality from leadership you will have a government that will attempt to turn itself into a god just like Germany did and just like Washington D.C. is doing right now. But there is room for only one God in the universe and when there is a nation that allows its leaders to not only subvert the Constitution but also Gods word, you have a nation that is on the brink of destruction. I asked you this question earlier. Do you really think that it matters to God if you have a problem with His word? If your answer is that you do not care if it matters, then you should not expect that the Constitution matters to God. But believe it or not, I do have an answer to the question. But you will have to wait until I post my next article to find out what it is.
