"2016: Obama's America": D'Souza DocuDrama Damning No Drama Obama

If enough voters watch D'Souza's documentary, President Obama won't win this time.

In 2004 Michael Moore released a documentary, "Fahrenheit 9/11," to thwart the reelection of President George W. Bush.

It didn't.

"2016: Obama's America" is a documentary now showing that seeks to thwart the reelection of President Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.

Hopefully it will. Every voter should see it. It doesn't fully explain President Obama, but it sure makes the case that he should not be reelected.

The documentary's website promotes the documentary this way:

"2016 Obama's America takes audiences on a gripping visual journey into the heart of the world’s most powerful office to reveal the struggle of whether one man's past will redefine America over the next four years. The film examines the question, 'If Obama wins a second term, where will we be in 2016?"

"Across the globe and in America, people in 2008 hungered for a leader who would unite and lift us from economic turmoil and war. True to America’s ideals, they invested their hope in a new kind of president, Barack Obama. What they didn't know is that Obama is a man with a past, and in powerful ways that past defines him--who he is, how he thinks, and where he intends to take America and the world.

"Immersed in exotic locales across four continents, best selling author Dinesh D’Souza races against time to find answers to Obama’s past and reveal where America will be in 2016. During this journey he discovers how Hope and Change became radically misunderstood, and identifies new flashpoints for hot wars in mankind’s greatest struggle. The journey moves quickly over the arc of the old colonial empires, into America’s empire of liberty, and we see the unfolding realignment of nations and the shape of the global future.

"Emotionally engaging, 2016 Obama’s America will make you confounded and cheer as you discover the mysteries and answers to your greatest aspirations and worst fears.

"Love him or hate him, you don’t know him."

That's actually a fair description, not hype.

As for knowing President Obama, D'Souza is a fount of important information, but not yet omniscient.

The documentary is written by and stars Dinesh D'Souza as interviewer and based on his book, The Roots of Obama’s Rage.

Born in Mumbai, India in 1961, D'Souza moved to the United States to attend Dartmouth College despite his grandfather's warning about the white people in control there and upon graduation he went to work in the Reagan White House as a policy analyst.

Fortunately for President Obama, D'Souza is not constitutionally eligible to be President of the United States, because he would be a much better choice.

D'Souza admitted to being sophomoric when he was a Dartmouth sophomore, but there's nothing sophomoric about his documentary. It is fact-filled and serious as a heart attack. D'Souza skillfully draws parallels between President Obama and himself--a couple of dark skinned Ivy Leaguers who were born and married in the same years. It is impossible to dismiss D'Souza as an ignorant redneck racist and fascinating as to why he and President Obama are so very different politically.

D'Souza apparently sees his own father as key to understanding him and infers that Barack Obama Sr. therefore is key to understanding President Obama.

D'Souza simply accepted President Obama's assertion that he was born in Hawaii in 1961. D'Souza traveled to Kenya for evidence of what Barack Sr. was like, not a Kenyan birth certificate for President Obama, but don't expect Chris Matthews of NBC and MSNBC to like this documentary.

The gist of D'Souza's message in the documentary is summarized on the front and back flaps of his book, as follows:

"YOU WILL NEVER SEE OBAMA THE SAME WAY AGAIN

"He’s been called many things: a socialist, a radical fellow traveler, a Chicago machine politician, a prince of the civil rights movement, a virtual second coming of Christ, or even a covert Muslim.

"But as New York Times bestselling author Dinesh D’Souza points out in this shockingly revealing book, these labels merely slap our own preconceived notions on Barack Obama.

"The real Obama is a man shaped by experiences far different from those of most Americans; he is a much stranger, more determined, and exponentially more dangerous man than you’d ever imagined. He is not motivated by the civil rights struggles of African Americans in the 1960s—those battles leave him wholly untouched. He is not motivated by the socialist or Marxist propaganda that hypnotized a whole generation of wooly–minded academics and condescending liberals—those concepts also leave him cold.

"What really motivates Barack Obama is an inherited rage—an often masked, but profound rage that comes from his African father; an anticolonialist rage against Western dominance, and most especially against the wealth and power of the very nation Barack Obama now leads. It is this rage that explains the previously inexplicable, and that gives us a startling look at what might lie ahead.

"In The Roots of Obama’s Rage you’ll learn: Why Obama’s economic policies are actually designed to make America poorer compared to the rest of the world Why Obama will welcome a nuclear Iran Why Obama sees America as a rogue nation—worse than North Korea The real reason Obama banished a bust of Winston Churchill from the White House and ordered NASA to praise the scientific contributions of Muslims Why Obama would like to make America’s superpower status a thing of the past.

"Stunning, provocative, original, and telling—no one has better diagnosed who Obama is, what he intends to do, and why he poses an existential threat to America than Dinesh D’Souza in The Roots of Obama’s Rage."

"We are today living out the script for America and the world that was dreamt up not by Obama but by Obama’s father. How do I know this? Because Obama says so himself. Reflect for a moment on the title of his book: it’s not Dreams of My Father but rather Dreams from My Father. In other words, Obama is not writing a book about his father’s dreams; he is writing a book about the dreams that he got from his father.

"Think about what this means. The most powerful country in the world is being governed according to the dreams of a Luo tribesman of the 1950s—a polygamist who abandoned his wives, drank himself into stupors, and bounced around on two iron legs (after his real legs had to be amputated because of a car crash caused by his drunk driving). This philandering, inebriated African socialist, who raged against the world for denying him the realization of his anti-colonial ambitions, is now setting the nation’s agenda through the reincarnation of his dreams in his son. The son is the one who is making it happen, but the son is, as he candidly admits, only living out his father’s dream. The invisible father provides the inspiration, and the son dutifully gets the job done. America today is being governed by a ghost."

The book is well worth reading, the documentary is well worth seeing and President Obama does pose "an existential threat to America," as D'Souza phrased it. But...has D'Souza solved the mystery of President Obama?

I say, "Partly, not completely."

Nowhere in the documentary is the word "ACORN" mentioned, and understanding ACORN and Obama's involvement with it is essential to understanding President Obama, his "rage" and his agenda.

Yes, President Obama is anticolonialist, but he is an anticolonial stealth socialist and ACORN is anticolonial and stealth socialist.

D'Souza based his theory on what is written in Dreams from My Father, but apparently missed key words actually spoken by candidate Obama and recorded that tell us what he's all about.

On the subject of Obama and ACORN, Glenn Beck is right.

GLENN: ..we have the audio of [Obama] and we'll play it for you in a second. And then he was on with George Stephanopoulos and...George Stephanopoulos said, you know, what's the deal with ACORN? Are you aware of this? And he said, I don't pay any attention to that stuff. Now we have some video of the president of the United States, verification of one of the most blatant lies I've ever seen where he looks right into the camera and tells you, "I was just, I did some attorney work for them, that's it." This now is apparently video from during the campaign where he was meeting with who we assume were ACORN officials because he's referring to ACORN as "You," and here's how he describes his relationship with ACORN.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: And I definitely welcome ACORN's input. You don't have to ask me about that. I'm going to call you even if you didn't ask me.

When I ran Project Vote, voter registration drive in Illinois, you know, ACORN was smack dab in the middle of it. Once I was elected, there wasn't a campaign that ACORN worked on down in Springfield that I wasn't right there with you. Since I've been in the United States Senate, I've been always a partner with ACORN as well. I've been fighting with ACORN, alongside ACORN on issues you care about my entire career.

THAT IS TRUE! (Project Vote is part of "the ACORN family" and still functioning with Frances Fox Piven of the notorious Cloward-Piven strategy on its board.)

Watch the video (www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFSY2dnTSZQ).

ACORN is in President Obama's political DNA.

Michelle Malkin (http://michellemalkin.com/2008/06/25/the-acorn-obama-knows/) is right: "Where does the candidate of Hope and Change — the candidate of Reform and New Politics — stand...? Barack Obama, ACORN’s senator, is for more of the same old, same old subsidizing of far-left politics in the name of fighting for the poor while enriching ideological cronies. It’s the Chicago way."

ACORN's goal: implementing socialism without calling it that.

Norman Thomas, the six-time Socialist presidential candidate, said: "The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened."

Obamacare is not a single payer plan, but there's video of a young Obama explaining that's what he ultimately wants.

That's ACORN stealth socialism, not anticolonialism.

Clever ACORN founder and Chief Organizer for 38 years Wade Rathke understood Thomas's point and acted accordingly.

ACORN Whistleblower Anita MonCrief's "Obama, ACORN and Stealth Socialism" (http://hotair.com/archives/2010/05/29/obama-acorn-and-stealth-socialism-dire-domestic-threat/) begins:

"As an ex-ACORN insider and ex-radical who used Democrat donor lists to raise money for ACORN alter-ego Project Vote and designed the ACORN 2005, 2006 and 2007 Political Operations Year End Power Point presentations, I know that President Obama (for whom I now regretfully admit I proudly voted) was an ACORN guy for many years and realize that he became the instrument for the implementation of its stealth socialism agenda.

"National Journal rated Obama the most 'liberal' United States Senator, even more 'liberal' than avowed socialist Bernard Sanders of Vermont (for whom then Senator Obama campaigned), because he earned it."

ACORN's People's Platform (www.acorn.org/index.php?id=50) cleverly advocates socialism without ever mentioning that word.

Read it all.

The Preamble begins:

"We stand for a People's Platform, as old as our country, and as young as our dreams. We come before our nation, not to petition with hat in hand, but to rise as one people and demand.

"We have waited and watched. We have hoped and helped. We have sweated and suffered. We have often believed. We have frequently followed.

"But we have nothing to show for the work of our hand, the tax of our labor. Our patience has been abused; our experience misused. Our silence has been seen as support. Our struggle has been ignored.

"Enough is enough. We will wait no longer for the crumbs at America's door. We will not be meek, but mighty. We will not starve on past promises, but feast on future dreams.

"We are an uncommon people. We are the majority, forged from all minorities. We are the masses of many, not the forces of few. We will continue our fight until the American way is just one way, until we have shared the wealth, until we have won our freedom."

The political strategy is apparent: take political control and then share, or spread, the wealth.

Hard as it may be to believe, it's even worse than D'Souza indicated. Obama's about a lot more than kicking the British out of India, Kenya and the Falkland Islands and equating American exceptionalism with Greek exceptionalism.

D'Souza included in the documentary an abbreviated version of the relationship between President Obama and his pastor/mentor, Rev. Jeremiah A. "God damn America" Wright, a leading proponent of Black Liberation Theology, and explaining that candidate Obama cut ties with Rev. Wright because he had a presidency to win.

President Obama supported ACORN as am Illinois state senator and United States Senator and as President made ACORN a partner in the United States census, Yes, he signed the bill defunding ACORN when it became politically expedient to do so. But the Obama Administration placed ACORN people and allies in key positions, because Obama's agenda is their agenda, and as D'Souza and Rev. Wright know, President Obama will do what he has to do to win.

BUT...if enough voters watch D'Souza's documentary, President Obama won't win this time.
