WHO DECIDES YOUR FUTURE?

Those who would call me a right wing nut, clinging to my Bible and my second amendment right to protect myself from enemies foreign and domestic, are winning the argument because the 85% of Americans who are Christians, are not willing to link arms and take a stand for their faith based value system which made our Republic the greatest on planet Earth.

The root question for today’s American: Who decides your future? We can debate the issues until we are blue in the face, and no one takes the Republic forward to success. What our Republic lacks is the absolute conviction of the premise that all of our decisions must be founded in truth. Unless this Republic wakes up to our responsibility to our Declaration of Independence, and our Constitution, we will lose our liberty, control of our own lives, and our individual ability to pursue happiness. Those who oppose our liberty loving system have been infiltrating our Republic for almost as long as it has been in existence. America’s enemies would choose to bring our Republic down to the level of those countries in which human rights are non-existent, and where rulers, fascists, and communists make your decisions for you – because political thugs believe that by taking your decisions away from you, they can rob you of your individual wealth.

We can argue why union thugs, in bed with politicians, are making themselves rich, while enslaving Americans with empty promises and lies. We can argue why our children are being brainwashed, taught theories as truth, and introducing them to adultery in the guise of health care. We can argue why many of our churches are turning into money making feel good centers, or have turned to preaching hateful racist theology. We can argue why divorce is so prevalent, and the family is dying. We can argue all of these topics, and not move any closer to success, because America is not willing to have the discussions regarding our Christianity, and returning to our Judeo-Christian faith and value system in earnest. If we were living our faith, and our faith based value system, we would not be facing the severity of problems that exist in our Republic.

I have a brain stuffed with a lot of secular information. From the beginning of every day I am on this Earth, to the end of each day, my life is a series of choices. It does not matter where I am or what I am doing, choice is the activity of every second of every day. Only a dishonest person would deprive me of using all of my skills in making those choices I make every day. I must use the soundest data base of truths to be the foundation of my decisions. My soundest data base to make decisions from is my faith – my Christian belief and value system. I can add to that my knowledge in many secular and temporal fields of interest: of being in a family, or the accounting principles I know, or the operational methods I have studied, or the history I have studied, or the philosophy I have studied, or the other religions I have studied and rejected for they did not hold FOR ME the truth of my Christian faith, or my knowledge of cooking, or my knowledge of hundreds of other subjects. The list for each of us is lengthy and valuable. My faith based system of life values are irrefutably based on those behaviors which have proven through time to bring the best results for living. One only needs to live a while, and observe, to see that stealing, cheating, lying, jealousy, murdering, cursing, negative and destructive based belief systems (especially those that advocate submission or death), slavery, and adultery bring about bad results. Conversely, our Judeo - Christian value system is based on honesty, truth, faithfulness, loving our enemy (but not embracing the enemies religion or culture), positive speech, our positive belief system, and freedom. These beliefs were important enough for our founders to write extensively about. As Americans, studying the scriptures and the writings of our founding fathers should be an important part of our American education.

Separation of Church and State appears only on one founding father’s letter. Americans have been lied to about what it is. Separation of Church and State means that there will never be one State religion, such as The Church of the United States of America, forced on all citizens through government. Because of the First Amendment, our government will never be able to have such a church forced on all Americans. Conversely, no one can stop any American – including teachers, students, and politicians - from using their faith based value system as the foundation for all decisions.

It is important to take a moment to address slavery. Abolishing slavery was a battle our founders were confident America would achieve. Abolishing slavery took the sacrifice and steadfastness and lives of Americans of all ethnicities to achieve. Before slavery was abolished, approximately 10% to 20% of southern Americans owned slaves. The number depends on which historian you ask. White Americans, Black Americans, and Indian Americans owned slaves. Most of today’s Americans are not descended from slave owners, and are sick of the whole race baiting that many politicians practice. What is infinitely sad is that our baby boomer generation worked very hard to put racism behind us. We raised our kids as color blind as we could; and we taught our children to judge others on their character. Americans on all sides of the aisle, and of all colors, are not making decisions based on our Christian value system, or political people would not be able to divide us based on race. We should all be ashamed of these lies that are dividing not only us, but our Republic.

Our Creator created me with inalienable rights.

He created me with my life which is mine. When I feel joy or pain from experiences, I am feeling the joy or pain. No one else is feeling it for me. Others may empathize from similar experiences, but they are not me, and could never experience exactly what I am experiencing, because the only person that can experience my life is me.

The Lord gave me liberty which is evidenced by my free will. Someone else may try to steal my free will by brainwashing me, or by enslaving me – but they do not have that inherent right to my liberty – they have to use dishonest measures to steal it from me.

The Lord gave me my right to pursue happiness. Happiness means different things to different people. One person may be happy in a hut on the beach, selling sea shells to vacationers; another person may be happy working toward a partnership at a huge law firm. Such a decision is the most personal stuff that one’s life is made of. We do not need anyone to save us from ourselves except our Lord. Only our Lord Jesus can give us salvation. No politician can do this for me, or for you.

For the mature and honest Christian, every choice we make comes from the premise of our faith, and the values associated with our faith. This should be true for decisions we make about our lives, and the lives of our children. The serious calamities facing our nation exist because we bought into the lie that we could make decisions without having our faith as the foundational cornerstone. Unless our choices / decisions come from that core within each of us which holds our foundational truths, we can expect results that are often not in our long-term, best interest.

Our forefathers gave us a Republican form of government, based on their foundational truths, which was their Christian value system. Their Biblical knowledge would put many of us to shame, should our knowledge be compared. The questions that have occurred to me are . . . Why are Americans so amazed that atheists, Radical Islamists, Socialists, Marxists and Communists each believe they can convert America to their belief system? Why are Americans so amazed that we have voted people into office who are making decisions for their constituents that are not in alignment with our Declaration of Independence and United States Constitution? When we fail to verbalize and live our faith value system of Christianity, the enemy sees an opening to come in and enslave us. What we need today, to win this war inside our Republic, is for the 85% who are Christians to start living their faith 100% of the time. When Satan comes looking at America, if we have returned to our faith, he will move on to another nation that does not have the strong belief system that we do.

There are times in American history when our personal, community, and national problems brought Americans together. The successful solutions always came from our Christian values as the premise behind every moment of truth. We did remember this for a few weeks after 9/11/2001. The fact that our unity only lasted a few weeks speaks volumes about the current state of the faith of our Republic. If your faith is faltering, renew it. If your faith is ignorant, form a Bible Study group and learn together. If your church is not teaching and practicing our Christian value system, change it, or find a new church home. If your church is an excellent example, seek out your neighbors to join you – if your message comes from truth, you will draw people to you. I implore Americans to get on our knees and pray to God to forgive our nation and each of us in our nation, and to pour His blessings upon us again. If we rise up in renewal and revival of our faith and its value system, it will be apparent to the world that will see our change, and once again want to emulate us for hope of such wondrous blessings.
