A Fighting Catholic Newspaper Editor dissects a Fresno State riot and teaches Protestants Papal Encyclicals

My friend, the late Dr. Murray Norris was a Catholic newspaperman who warned Fresno State officials of an impending riot (the same time as the Cal-Berkeley riots). They already hated him for publicly standing for righteousness, so he was ignored. He was battling Satanic masses being performed in local high school English classes!

It started at the precise time and locale Norris warned. He posted reporters around the site and photographed the leaders at the rear (that’s called leading from behind – an interesting totalitarian tactic), pushing their (OWS-like) fodder to riot. College students have to know the Obama Administration and its Sorosian lackeys are up to the same shenanigans.

Norris turned in the photos to local and federal authorities and 36 were arrested and convicted. He received death threats and his paper was bombed.

Norris, a devout “Fundamental Christian” – good definition for a real Catholic – spoke at over 600 Protestant churches – few knew he was Catholic. Though a student of the Bible, his teaching was very to-the-point. His audiences were thrilled. “Where do you get your input”?’ they asked. He said he read a lot.

He was teaching them from Papal Encyclicals! One might conclude 99% of Catholics have never read an encyclical, but members of many Protestant churches got a good dose. That might explain how many Catholics, clergy and laity, went nuts with social justice misinterpreted (aka Marxism).

Inquiring minds want to know, what do you suggest? Try this one from Pope Pius XI, issued in May 1931. You’ll wish someone paid heed. Word search “socialism” and get a very timely eyeful…. Pope Pius XI in 1931 was witnessing the rise of Communism ans Nazism - two forms of socialism, just as we are in the middle of the rise of Communism, Fascism and radical Islam. Maybe we can learn from the advice of a wise man of the past who learned from another wise man who wrote 40 years earlier.
