Just say "No" to Gingrich, Christie, Huntsman and Romney!

Politicians who do not have the fortitude to stand up to the Leftist "green" movement and take a principled stand against climate warmist propaganda will have neither the stomach nor the inclination to deal with unsustainable entitlement spending if elected to the Presidency. In short, such politicians will not get the support of the majority of Americans who reject the Al Gore extremism for which no supportive evidence exists.

What do Newt Gingrich, Gov. Christie, Mr. Huntsman, and former Gov. Romney all have in common?

Answer:  They are all dead wrong in their views of climate change/global warming. Each has given credibility to the claims that human activity is significantly altering climate and creating global warming. Yet there is no observational evidence to support such a claim. While climate may or may not be warming (it is a very debatable question), there is zero evidence that human activity is linked with any meaningful degree of climate change. Period. No more is needed. All the model-crunching and assumption-laden hypothesis-strewn peer-reviewed paperwork will not change the reality that there is absolutely no credible linkage between human activity (burning fossil fuel) and significant climate change. None.

So when politicians take a position designed to curry favor with the Leftist "green" movement that is promoting the climate change rubbish produced by the UN's IPCC, we know they are either scientifically ignorant or they do not have the fortitude to stand up to the "usual suspects" in our Leftist-dominated news media -- or both! Climate change is an issue they simply do not want to face because they know anyone who takes a principled position against the climate change scam and advocates their forcefully will face massive Leftist media retaliation. So some candidates will simply capitulate to the propaganda-driven "green" movement and support some measure of restraint on fossil fuels at a time this nation is in economic crisis!

One of the primary purposes of the Leftist "green" agenda is to drive the United States to a second-class nation status. There are two emotions driving this impulse. First, a hatred for the success of capitalism in the face of Marxist failures throughout history. Second, a desire to see a universal "one world" government under United Nations authority. In reality, the IPCC is simply a weapon of control being used by those who advocate "world government." Control fossil fuel energy and you control energy needed to support a modern economy. Artificially restrain energy production to drive up energy costs and the chaos of economic depression ensues. We are seeing this very process unfold in the United States today with the artificially high cost of energy as a consequence of massive government restrictions. Add to that the anti-capitalist fervor of the current administration in Washington and it is no wonder businesses are reluctant to expand, resettle in, or continue their activity in the United States. As the squeeze is put on inexpensive fossil fuels, energy costs rise dramatically. This, in turn, creates economic depression, lower standards of living, and higher unemployment. Such political chaos is the end sought by the Left.

Meanwhile, school children and college students in the United States are being barraged by "green" propaganda that is well-financed and well-entrenched throughout academia and the media. We no longer educate young people to be smart citizens nor does the media inform citizens with the truth required to make an intelligent voting choice. We propagandize students with public schooling that is controlled by the Left. Consequently, far too many who turn 18 are ill-equipped to cast an informed, intelligent vote.

This destruction of our education system that has turned it into a propaganda mill for the Leftist agenda is exactly why we need candidates with firmer principles than Gingrich, Christie, Huntsman, and Romney bring to the GOP race. We need principled candidates, armed with the knowledge and understanding needed to take on the established Leftist "green" agenda forcefully and with conviction and put an end to public funds being used to preach Marxist dogma in our schools and universities.

It is interesting that every survey of public views puts "climate change" and "global warming" at the very bottom of the stack of issues confronting our nation. Yet these candidates have chosen to take the wrong position on climate change both scientifically and in terms of what the electorate recognizes as a fraudulent issue. Candidates who lack the political and scientific acumen to avoid this pitfall are clearly not suited to the job of President of the United States.

Neither Gingrich, Christie, Huntsman, nor Romney has what it takes to be a successful President. On the simple test of the question of human-caused climate change, these candidates have utterly failed. They must be rejected by the GOP because they surly will be rejected by the electorate.

With a large field of candidates to choose from, it is inconceivable the GOP would select one who is so wrong on the issue of climate change as are Gingrich, Christie, Huntsman and Romney. The Leftist media is faced with its own dilemma in that it will have to encourage these candidates in order to produce the weakest possible GOP candidate for next year's election!

Memo to the GOP:  Just say "No" to Gingrich, Christie, Huntsman and Romney! Failure to do so will be suicidal.

Biography - Bob Webster

Author of "Looking Out the Window", an evidence-based examination of the "climate change" issue, Bob Webster, is a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s). He is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.

A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
