A recent MoveOn.org email claims to be fighting "noise of Fox News." Evidently, the folks at George Soros' MoveOn.org (aka, MorOn.org) are afraid of the truth getting out. To realize how truly ignorant these people are, I've reproduced their appeal. It would be laughable were it not reaching the politically illiterate and scientifically ignorant by the millions.
Below is a recent MoveOn.org email claiming to be fighting the "noise of Fox News." To realize how truly ignorant these people are, I've reproduced their email appeal. Links have been removed. One of them led to a video by scientifically illiterate Robert Redford praising Obama's blocking of the Keystone Pipeline as a conduit for "dirty oil". Well, I suppose any unrefined oil might be termed "dirty."
Redford's tirade was steeped in ignorance and out-and-out lies. The fact is, the propose pipeline would be difficult to find in a map of all existing pipelines that crisscross the midwestern US! Pipelines are notoriously safe. Oil remains one of the least expensive sources of abundant energy. With increasing Middle Eastern tensions and the Obama administration openly encouraging the Muslim Brotherhood to further disruption, there is a strong possibility that Middle Eastern oil production could come to a screeching halt, putting enormous pressure on oil prices to skyrocket, thanks to Democrat's long-standing obstruction of recovery of relatively inexpensive fossil fuels that pose absolutely no significant danger to our environment, but whose lack poses a massive danger for our economic well-being.
The lies and distortions in Redford's calm tirade is matched by the propaganda spouted by this email. They are borderline treasonous to the future safety and well-being of all Americans, including the dupes who actually believe such trash.
The MoveOn.org email [my comments and clarifications of progressive-speak interjected in italicized brackets]:
Dear MoveOn member,
It began as a high-stakes experiment. A small team had an audacious goal: Use Facebook, Twitter, and other social media to raise our progressive voices [propagandize] above the noise [truth] of Fox News.
Just nine months later, the results are astounding. We've now reached people 65 million times [that's lot of haranguing, isn't it?] with progressive news [lies] and information [disinformation] that won't be found on Fox—or any other [honest] corporate media. Yes, 65 million times! [that's lot of haranguing, isn't it?]
At Fox, talking heads spout right-wing talking points [aka, truth], and it's all fueled by corporate dollars [as are all real jobs, all broadcast and cable news, all newspapers, all news magazines]. We're pioneering a different approach: people-powered media [spouting ignorance and spreading propaganda and lies]. Instead of broadcasting, we're sharing [our propaganda]. So our progressive [anti-constitutional] content spreads [infests the population] person to person, without a corporation [to confuse you with reality and the facts] in the middle.
We've got a small team in place, and a process that's proven its potential. Now we need more resources to meet the challenges of this incredibly important election year [painting a bleak economy, devastating energy crisis, and increasingly poor public education as "good"]. It's expensive to run a web service that reaches millions of people [to lie and propagandize] each month. And we desperately need more designers and programmers [it's really hard to find competent people who are ignorant enough to swallow our bilge]. Of course, we'll never take a dime of corporate money [we don't need to, with George Soros to fund us through his foundations], so we're going to need your help [if you're sucker enough to fall for this].
We're launching a "Fight Fox Fund" to support this vital [disinformation campaign] work. Can you [are you dumb enough to] chip in $10 per month to help out?
Yes [I'm a moron], I can chip in $10 per month.
Sorry, [I still have a brain so] I can't.
Here's how it works: Every day, a team of 50 MoveOn volunteer editors [with no real job, thanks to Obama] scours the web for the most inspiring [fabricated], thought-provoking [mind-numbing], impactful progressive news [drivel] and opinion [lies]. Graphics debunking [misrepresenting] Republican lies [truth] about the economy. Live video coverage of the [repulsive] Occupy movement. Inspiring footage of progressive heroes [the Racist Woodrow Wilson, murderous Adolf Hitler, genocidal George Bernard Shaw, and racist Margaret Sanger]. And much more [yes, there's Pol Pot, Mao, Castro, Chavez, why, the list just goes on ...] .
It's a wild fire hose of information [rubbish] that's wrestled to the ground by an awesome group of volunteers [fools and traitors], backed up by our tiny staff of editors [uneducated propagandists] and programmers [dupes desperate for work]. When there's a crucial story that needs to be told [lied about] but we can't find great media, we make it [up] ourselves. Then we put it through a battery of tests we've designed [to be sure the truth is well-hidden], and if it proves juicy enough to be shared broadly [among the politically ignorant], we push it out to hundreds of thousands of people [dupes and fellow-travelers], who share it with millions more [unhappy recipients].
We believe that this model of people-powered media [propaganda], funded by people like us [dishonorable morons], can be a secret weapon against the conservative noise [truth] machine. Without corporate cash, we'll never have the money to build our own network like Fox [thank goodness]. But there are millions of progressives [anti-American morons] whose social networks [propaganda cells] cover most of America. Together, we could reach [turn off] more people than Rupert Murdoch on a good day!
But we need to raise enough to expand our content curation [propaganda manufacturing], production, and testing capacity—not to mention developing the tools to widen our reach [cancerous spread]. Can you chip in [to fund anti-American propagandizing for the sum of just ] $10 per month to make it all possible?
Yes [I'm an idiot], I can.
Sorry [I have a brain and find MoveOn.org repulsive], I can't.
Outlets like Fox are funded by greedy [successful] billionaires—the 1%. We're relying on the 99% [excluding our grand benefactor, George Soros, of course]. MoveOn.org Civic Action [Propaganda Network] is funded by small dollar contributions from folks like you [guess again], and since we keep our staff size very small [because it's really hard to find illiterate politically ignorant morons], those contributions are used very efficiently to [support our livelihoods and perform this insidious] work on this project and to support all our good [nefarious] work [attempting to destroy this Constitutional Republic].
Thanks for all you do. [Oh, you're quite welcome. And I shall continue to fight such dishonorable propaganda operations as that at MoveOn.org]
–Angie, Carrie, Brandon, Danny, Linda, and the rest of the [sorry] team
These people are either completely ignorant of truth and reality, or they are consciously aiding and abetting the attempted destruction of our Constitutional Republic. Progressivism and American Constitutionalism opposing philosophies that are incompatible and, for that reason, so-called "progressives" aim to destroy our Constitutional Republic through simple neglect of our Constitution.
If you know anyone who has been taken in by MoveOn.org, please give them help so they might recover from their mental disorder before the November elections. I suggest handing such people a pocket edition of our Constitution (if they can read) for starters.
Author of "Looking Out the Window", an evidence-based examination of the "climate change" issue, Bob Webster, is a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s). He is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.
A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
