James Comey Lied to the American People
There seems no end to the dishonesty associated with the Obama Administration

No other reasonable conclusion can be drawn from James Comey's Tuesday statement than that his recommendation to the Attorney General was, itself, a completely dishonest statement. And, given his experience, he must have known it.

When James Comey, after spending fifteen minutes clearly outlining Hillary Clinton's clear violations of national security law, concluded "our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case", he was knowingly lying to the American people. [The complete transcript of Director Comey's statement is linked in the notes below.]

The evidence Comey laid out incontrovertibly revealed Hillary Clinton had repeatedly and knowingly violated the clear letter and intent of national security law. See Obama, other Clinton supporters, denying criminal investigation of Clinton (June 13, 2016)

Reasonable prosecutors, judges, attorneys of all flavors throughout the country have been virtually unanimous in their condemnation and contradiction of Comey's conclusion.

Virtually any prosecutor could easily have gotten convictions based on the multitude of clear evidence of crimes discovered. The evidence enumerated by Comey made multiple convictions a "slam dunk!"

Despite Comey's irrational and misleadingly inference that they did, the applicable statutes do not require intent.

There is another puzzling aspect that confirms the dishonesty of Comey's recommendation not to prosecute (as if the investigating office has any business making such a recommendation in the first place). That is, former Clinton aide, Bryan Pagliano, who set up Clinton's illegally used nonsecure private email server, was granted immunity from prosecution in return for his testimony.

Immunity is not granted without knowledge a crime was committed. The testimony of Mr. Pagliano had to provide the necessary information that clearly linked Hillary Clinton to criminal activities using her private nonsecure email server to handle the highest category of clearly marked classified information that was almost certainly hacked by full-time Russian, Chinese, and Iranian electronic information snooping operations.

The information acquired through Pagliano's immunity must certainly have formed the basis for a conviction of Hillary Clinton on multiple counts of espionage, an act which does not require intent.

There is no reasonable conclusion that can be drawn from Comey's concluding recommendation and the quick DoJ adoption of that recommendation than that Comey lied and AG Loretta Lynch was complicit with a pre-arranged conclusion to the Hillary Clinton email scandal.

Mr. Comey's performance not only discredits him as an honorable man, it discredits his position as Director of the FBI and it discredits the very institution of the FBI.

The only honorable course for James Comey is to resign without delay.

Comey's disgraceful performance will go down in history as yet another example of the transparent corruption that is rampant throughout the Obama administration.

Then, when the Loretta Lynch Department of Justice (DoJ) quickly endorsed Comey's clearly erroneous conclusion, the American people were slapped in the face once again.

Despite Comey's tainted "recommendation", it is inconceivable that competent attorneys within the DoJ would not have quickly recognized the ease with which easy convictions on multiple counts of Hillary Clinton's clear violations of national security law and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) law could have been obtained.

That the DoJ subsequently quickly endorsed the FBI Director's "recommendation" is clear evidence that the fix was in and the entire process was rigged.

There is no "fair play" or "justice" within the DoJ.

This sorry episode is not only a slap in the face to the American people, it betrays the hard work of all those honorable employees of the FBI who spent a very long time putting together a case that was so solid, there could be no defense.

The only way out was for the DoJ to create a scenario where they would endorse a recommendation of the FBI Director, and where the FBI Director was instructed in no uncertain terms that he was to recommend against criminal prosecution.

If anyone believes the "coincidental" meeting of Attorney General Lynch and former President Bill Clinton did not address the script that was to be followed, they need to seek professional counseling for their serious self-delusions.

It is now abundantly clear that from top to bottom, the Obama Administration is corrupt to the core.

The American people have a choice in November. They can either endorse the corruption and serial dishonesty of the entrenched Washington establishment, or they can clean house by electing someone who knows how to get things done, on time, on budget.

The election of Hillary Clinton would institutionalize corruption and dishonesty unprecedented in the office of President. It would amount to putting the electorate's seal of approval on serial dishonesty and corruption in its leadership.

Shame on Director Comey.

Shame on Loretta Lynch.

Both Comey and Lynch are being questioned by Congress. It is important that they are asked clear, specific questions regarding what can only reasonably be characterized as their bizarre conclusion to the investigation of Hillary Clinton's repeated costly breaches of both national and international security that appear to be going unpunished and leave Clinton with access to highly sensitive national security information.

This corruption cannot be allowed to stand.

And shame on anyone who would contemplate voting to elect Hillary Clinton to any public office.

Biography - Bob Webster

Author of "Looking Out the Window", an evidence-based examination of the "climate change" issue, Bob Webster, is a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s). He is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.

A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
