WEBCommentary(tm) - The Impeachable Impeachment Inquiry

When your party loses an election that your pollsters told you you couldn't lose, what do you do? Accept defeat and work for the good of the country? Or,lacking the maturity to behave as adults and move on to cooperate with President Trump, do what Democrat politicians together with the disgraced former Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan did, blocked as many as possible of President Trump's efforts to deliver on his campaign promises to the American people. But the wasn't enough. The bitter anger and resentment over their loss has led to criminal acts against and a distortion of the impeachment process to deny the President his election.

As the 2016 campaign of Hillary Clinton moved into low gear, the prospect of her losing became sufficiently real to Democrat political insiders that during the final year of former President Obama's second term a cabal of high-ranking Democrats in the FBI, the Department of Justice (DoJ), the State Department, US national security agencies and the White House initiated a plan designed to either prevent the election of Donald J. Trump or, failing in that, assure that his election would be either neutered by unprecedented resistance to the will of the people or terminated by impeachment. Failing in these efforts, sufficient damage would be inflicted that would assure President Trump could not win a bid for a second term.

The evidence supporting this view is unassailable. How else to explain the unprecedented and dangerous political climate that exists today? The "progressive left" was assured its ultimate victory over our Constitutional Republic with the election of Hillary Clinton (first woman president) following two terms of the first Black president. Both Obama and Clinton are admitted advocates of the Marxist theory supported by their political role model, Saul Alinsky. Academia is overwhelmingly sympathetic toward Marxism and the disruptive tactics of Alinsky.

Calling themselves "Progressives" (a typical devious tactic) these Alinsky Marxists have two traits that embody the "ends justify the means" strategy at the heart of every Marxist. First, they will not hesitate to lie and ridicule those who do not accept their lies. Second, they will use any illegal tactic they can conceive, while accusing their opposition of doing the same. These tactics would be used to restore the Left's near stranglehold on American national politics designed to pack the US Supreme Court with far Left activists.

President Trump's judicial appointments have taken back much of the territory gained by the Left. The loss of another seat or two would be an insurmountable blow to the Leftist Progressives who cannot abide by the constitutional restrictions on massive government. So they must use every tactic in the Alinsky manual to thwart the will of the American people in order to regain their power.

When Progressives claim others are lying, it is they who are lying. When Progressives claim others are racist, homophobic, xenophobic, sexist, ad nauseam, it is because they, in fact, hold those same views. When Progressives claim others are breaking the law, it is they who are breaking the law. Sadly, many Progressives are so blinded by their ideology, they do not even recognize the damage they do to our Constitutional Republic.

Consider candidate Clinton's egregious violation of national security laws, repeatedly and brazenly, just to hide her communications as Secretary of State that provided evidence of her criminal "pay to play" scheme that netted the Clinton Foundation hundreds of millions of dollars from foreign interests in exchange for Clinton's approval of their exception requests. Imagine if Donald J. Trump had committed a fraction of those clear violations of federal law! Those violations, incidentally, are very likely to have exposed information that led to the deaths of at least six people, some Americans overseas and others highly-placed intel sources in foreign governments. Of course, the Democrat-controlled national news media have shown no interest in pursuing the egregious miscarriage of justice that transpired when James Comey claimed no crimes had been committed in the face of evidence he had just cited that contained multiple examples of clear and very serious high crimes against the United States.

Having abused the FISA court process by blatantly lying in documents used as the basis for spying on the Trump campaign (and administration), this cabal of Leftist Democrats began their disinformation campaign in the friendly Democrat propaganda ministry also known as the "news media."

That abuse set up the illicitly-appointed Mueller investigation that lacked the required clear evidence of a crime. This "investigation in search of a crime" was conducted by partisan leftist Democrats working for an aging out-of-touch Robert Mueller who apparently slept while the real operatives (Andrew Weissmann, et al) spent tens of millions of federal funds in a desperate attempt to find anything remotely criminal in the actions of anyone associated with the Trump campaign, even if such actions occurred well before the Trump campaign existed! Nothing legitimate came of those efforts beyond identifying some foreign actors involved with efforts to hack into election/political related websites that had no relationship whatsoever with the Trump campaign. The illegal activities of the Clinton campaign with respect to the Steele Dossier were never investigated. Why do you suppose that is?

Having failed with their efforts to head off a Trump victory, and having failed to find a single thing traceable to President Trump that remotely smacked of criminal collusion, the Mueller investigation folded. But that wasn't good enough for the crazed lunatics of the Democrat Left that include a considerable number of members of the House of Representatives. One notable lunatic is Rep. Adam Schiff, D-CA, who has never met a lie he wouldn't tell nor a camera he wouldn't tell it to.

Rep. Schiff colluded with Speaker Pelosi (who appears to be losing her mind), to deny due process while claiming to perform an "impeachment inquiry" which is clearly outside Constitutional intent. By shutting out any opposition to their search for a crime by refusing to allow any opportunity to cross-examine such accusers and call witnesses to challenge accusations being made, these Democrats are helping to arrange for phony "whistleblowers" to step forward with claimed "proof" of some crime that is entirely unsupported by facts. There is no doubt that bitter, angry Democrat politicians and lawyers arranged for false information to be created out of thin air, then wrapped their product in the cloth of a "whistleblower" (they must have been high-fiving whoever came up with that lie). They then dutifully notified their friends in the Democrat-dominated fake news media who have done their best to create the illusion that an impeachable offense was committed by President Trump. Yet it's all rooted in fiction.

These charlatans will stop at nothing. They had ultimate power in the grasp of their clenched fists and it slipped away because their criminal candidate was so bad that even a dutiful press ignoring her monumental criminality could not, despite a major illegal vote contribution (more than two dozen Michigan ballot boxes containing more votes than registered voters in that heavily Democrat district), save the Clinton campaign from a major electoral defeat.

So the non-impeachment inquiry (the House never authorized the inquiry) into a non-crime (there is no real criminal basis other than Rep. Schiff's fertile imagination) in preparation for a non-impeachment (one cannot be impeached because others imagine a crime was committed based on non-evidence that is, in the end, merely biased political opinion) rages on with the lunatic news media breathlessly reporting each new manufactured tidbit (until it blows up in their collective faces).

Now that the investigation of the investigators is closing in on the cabal of criminal conspirators, the current sideshow of misnamed whistleblowers is promoted to misdirect public attention from the real story of collusion and criminal activity by Democrats in high government places.

The honest people at the DoJ will simply move on from investigating the investigators to gathering evidence in support of impeaching those who would be impeachers.

In the end, severe damage will have been done to the fabric of this great nation. All to sooth the political pique of losers who cannot accept defeat.

Only a massive repudiation of the criminal elements within the Democrat Party can save that party from a well-deserved extinction. Come November 2020, Americans must turn out in droves to slam the door on dishonest "Progressive" leftists (Schiff, Pelosi, "the squad" et al) who've taken over that party and are leading it over a political precipice into oblivion. The people must continue to reject the propaganda ministry mischaracterized as the "mainstream" news media.
