Republican Party Must Stop The Steal
If the Republican Party wimps out as usual, the consequences to this nation will be devastating.

Not known for having the courage of their convictions, Republicans need to step up to the plate and do the right thing. Will they? The evidence to date is not encouraging.

I've about had it with the Republican Party.

Republicans have an ethical, legal, and constitutionally-demanded path to prevent the subversion of our election. Their continued inaction will make them party to an election coup d'état by the corrupt radical Left Democrat Party.

Republicans knew that state executive changes to the legislature's election procedures (unauthorized mail-in ballots, unauthorized failure to validate signatures, etc.) were illegal and threatened the integrity of the election. Republican legislators could have prevented the fraud. But they didn't. Even after the brazen fraud was complete, state legislatures could have assembled to decertify any criminally-corrupt election certifications until the election could either be scrubbed of the fraud, or simply scrubbed entirely with the legislature asserting its constitutional right to appoint the electors it saw fit to appoint. That is the clear intent and power given them by our Constitution. Yet they did nothing!

The state legislatures of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Arizona are dominated by Republicans. Had the National Republican Party been on the ball with a will to do the right thing, it would have been all over those legislators to decertify any corrupt election where the legislature's procedural laws were flagrantly violated. National Republican leaders could have strongly pressured legislatures to assert their Article II, Sec. 1 power to "… appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of electors,…" so that the nation could be assured that those electors were not going to be the beneficiaries of massive ballot fraud and criminal alterations of their election procedures in select heavily Democrat urban areas. But neither the national Republican Party leaders nor the leaders of those state legislatures lifted a finger to do the right thing to assure that massive ballot fraud did not succeed in overturning the legitimate outcome of the election.

All we heard from both state and national Republican leadership were excuses and snoring.

It took Giuliani's team to wake up these lazy/incompetent politicians and give them some of the facts of what happened in urban Democrat-controlled jurisdictions in each of their states. These legislators had to know what was likely to happen, and they certainly knew about the criminal alteration of their election law by State officials prior to the election, and yet they did nothing!

All those states need do is to decertify the fraudulently certified electors and either not authorize any electors to represent their state in the Electoral College or assert their responsibility to certify the true winner. Alternatively, the legislature could simply not appoint any electors. All it would take is for those legislatures to do the right thing and the Electoral College would appoint the legitimate vote winner (the re-election of Donald J. Trump) or in the alternative, the Electoral College would have insufficient votes to produce a 270-vote winner. In that case, the issue goes to the US Congress where the Senate and House follow a procedure set up for just such an occasion.

It is a disgrace that the state Legislatureses have not taken action as of the day before the Electoral College vote is to be taken. This situation exists after Giuliani's team and others produced a mass of compelling evidence to make it abundantly clear that their election laws and procedures were ignored with impunity in just one key urban Democrat-controlled city/county in each of their respective states (Georgia: Atlanta/Fulton; Pennsylvania: Philadelphia/Philadelphia & Delaware; Michigan: Detroit/Wayne; Wisconsin: Milwaukee/Milwaukee; and, Arizona: Phoenix/Maricopa County). Those were the jurisdictions where massive post-election ballot fraud was sufficient to overturn the legitimate outcome of the election. Yet, not one of those state legislatures took any action to protect their state and our nation from a fraudulent candidate becoming President!

There are still no National Republican Party officials pressuring these state legislatures to take the necessary action that is particularly needed given that the SCOTUS completely abrogated its responsibility under Article III, Sec. 2, to have original jurisdiction over "Controversies between two or more States" (their clear constitutional responsibility), a fact only two justices understood but that should be apparent to everyone with an ability to read with comprehension. In fairness to the Supreme Court, they were being asked to fix a mess that the state legislatures should have fixed.

You can be certain that if the shoe were on the other foot, Democrats would have been all over those legislators on November 4th! They'd have threatened every one of them with shame, loss of Party backing in their next election, guaranteeing they'd be primaried out, etc., etc.

But what does the Republican Party do?

Fiddle, while Democrats are gleefully igniting fires all over the country to create a living hell.

The last resort is for Republicans in Congress to be prepared to challenge any vote of the Electoral College that includes Electors who were the beneficiary of massive, well-documented fraud.

If the Republican Party does not do a better job protecting our Constitutional Republic from the continuous attacks by the radical Left Democrat Party, then we must be prepared to fundamentally change the future of the Repubican Party by putting strong primary opponents in every race in the country (including areas where Republicans were too lazy to put up a candidate). No seat should be ceded to the party of personal destruction and national disgrace.

Finally, should the legitimate winner of the election prevail over the fraudulently anointed candidate, then a vigorous prosecution including charges of treason against the United States must begin immediately to ferret out all those responsible (including financial backers) for the brazen "in-your-face" election fraud that fraudulently altered the outcome of the 2020 election. I refer to a much wider scope than just those key cities where the fraud was monumental and succeeded in creating the appearance of a victory for the President's opponent. New faces and a special prosecutor (suggest Rudy Giuliani) should be empowered to act swiftly to arrest and charge every one of those guilty of criminal actions that allowed fraudulent vote tablulations as well as fraudulent ballots to be counted as votes.

Enough is enough. It's time to clean house in both parties. Republicans need to get rid of the incompetent lazy politicos who cannot bring themselves to do the right thing. Democrats need to get rid of the criminals who have taken control of their party over the past 12 years.

Biography - Bob Webster

Author of "Looking Out the Window", an evidence-based examination of the "climate change" issue, Bob Webster, is a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s). He is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.

A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
