Democrat Shadow Party Wants Meetings with Iran

After their controversial trip and meetings with Syrian terrorist President Bashar al-Assad, two members of the Democrat Shadow Government—Rep. Tom Lantos (D-CA) and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)—have announced that they want to, now, visit Iran. Lantos has even indicated that he wishes to, also, meet with that country’s terrorist President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. After Pelosi’s and Lantos’ recent let’s-meet-with-the-Syrian-enemy-of-the-US tour, Lantos confirmed the existence of his Party’s shadow government when he stated: “We have an alternative Democratic foreign policy. I view my job as beginning with restoring overseas credibility and respect for the United States!” But, the Democrats’ recent courses of action are doing just the opposite. The terrorists are laughing at them, as well as the rest of us.

Still refusing to learn from history, the Democrat leadership disregards the unambiguous reality that those who have announced their intent for world domination recognize and will respond positively only to strength. So, of course, the Democrats offer them their “option” and inherent policy of US weakness. The Party of Submission and “can’t we all just get along?” has now made the always dangerous decision to negotiate with terrorist states. Although its marketing strategies (which are heavily augmented and praised by a biased and activist entertainment industry and mainstream media) are legendary, the Democrat Party’s lack of intelligence has become pronounced and increasingly suspect. Ludicrous Lantos continued with: “Speaking just for myself, I would be ready to get on a plane tomorrow morning, because however objectionable, unfair and inaccurate many of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s statements are, it is important that we have a dialogue with him. Speaking for myself, I’m ready to go! And knowing the speaker, I think that she might be.” Both he, Pelosi and—one suspects the entire Democrat leadership—are now virtually begging Ahmadinejad to take a meeting with them! One way or another, they are bound and determined to totally undermine the Executive Branch of US government—and specifically President Bush.

The Democrats’ media (including many if not most of our so-called “mainstream” news sources) calls Pelosi’s recent Middle East trip, which was in flagrant violation of both official US policy and the ‘doesn’t-apply-to-Democrats’ Logan Act, courageous. Interestingly, terrorists have also come out in favor of Ms. Pelosi’s antics. Spokesman for the terrorist organization Islamic Jihad, Khaled Al-Batch, said gleefully: “Nancy Pelosi understands the area [Middle East] well, more than Bush and Dr. [Condoleeza] Rice. If the Democrats want to make negotiations with Syria, Hamas, and Hezbollah, this means the Democratic Party understands well what happens in this area and I think Pelosi will succeed. I hope she wins the next elections!” Of course he does. Useful idiot Pelosi’s trip helped all terrorists. Note: The Logan Act, which specifically disallows the types of behaviors being propagated by today’s Democrat leaders, applies to all US citizens. However, Democrats are progressively paying attention only to those laws that support their ideologies and are diligently working to repeal—or simply ignore—those that do not. And with no one from the feckless Republican side of the aisle willing to call them out on their anti-US and illegal behaviors, Democrats continue to get away with whatever they wish. We already know that “uncomfortable” laws do not apply to Democrats. Besides, the Democrats now have the terrorist votes firmly tucked into their back pockets—or purses—and they want to keep them there. Is there really anyone who is still unclear as to what the Democrats hope to accomplish with their substitution of official US policy?

Of additional import is that Ms. Pelosi has refused to meet with President Bush to discuss the Democrats’ defunding of the US troops’ bill. She will meet with any Islamic terrorist leader who will accept her irrational presence (even though fundamentalist Islam views women as below pond scum), but she will not meet with the President of the United States. Clearly, Ms. Pelosi and Mr. Lantos are unbalanced souls with an insatiable hunger and thirst for power. This is nothing new. For decades, this has been the apex of the Democrat Party’s agenda. This time though, its incessant quest for control of the United States places the country into a predicament from which it may never again emerge. By acknowledging and appeasing radical Islam, the Democrats place temselves in jeopardy (unless they become Muslims) and the terrorists in the position of taking over our country—via Democrats surrendering to any and all of their demands. And, Democrat leaders are actually smiling while they give away our country!

Although it’s been said that power tends to corrupt and absolute corrupts absolutely, apparently it also completely blinds those who pursue it. There are far too many white canes in the hallowed halls of Congress, these days, and most of them are being employed by the Shadow Party members.
