Democrats and Republicans: Joined Together to Stop Amnesty for Illegals

The first extraordinary event surrounding the sound demise of the Senate’s Illegal Immigrant Amnesty Bill is the participation of We-the-People in its defeat. The second is that this participation included the majority-on-the-same-side of both Democrats and Republicans. The most recent Rasmussen poll showed that only 22% of the American voting public—a poll that showed almost identical results for both Republican and Democrat voters—approved of the Amnesty Bill. Commenting on the Senate Bill, Rasmussen commented: “It is opposed by 52% of Republicans, 50% of Democrats, and 48% of unaffiliateds.” Due to so many calls to our senators, referencing disapproval of this anti-citizen Senate bill, the Capitol switchboard was overloaded and suffered a meltdown. For hours prior to the Senate vote, it was reported that no calls were able to get in or out. When a legislation is pending that has all of the inherent elements to dissolve the country, the American people—regardless of political partisanship—respond in favor of their country’s survival. We-the-People came together against the globalist open-borders Congressional elites.

While the country’s continuation is in jeopardy, largely due to both terrorism and the globalist faction working to dissolve the USA union, those not in favor of the maintenance of separate and independent United States of America still persist in pushing their open borders agenda. As an example, on CNN Sunday Democrat House Majority Whip Rep. James Clyburn of South Carolina, who pushed for the Illegals Amnesty bill, called Senate Republicans “obstructionists”—for not passing the pro-illegals and anti-US citizen legislation. Senators Harry Reid (D-NV) and Ted Kennedy (D-MA) continue their threats to reintroduce the Amnesty Bill—as many times as is necessary—until they have twisted enough senatorial arms to the breaking point and the legislation is passed. Having lived in the rarified air of corruption for far too long, these elitists and their colleagues have and are totally ignoring the will of the American people. And Republicans are not off the hook, either. The effete-elite joining of RINO Senators Trent Lott (R-MS), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), John McCain (R-AZ) and others have called those who disagree with them “bigots” and “nativists” (courtesy of Sen.’s Graham and McCain). Sen. Lott called the US “opposition” citizenry “uninformed” and then blamed conservative talk-radio for the bill’s demise, when he pontificated: “Talk radio is running America. We have to deal with that problem!” Note: Lott actually, at one point in time, claimed to be a conservative. Now he appears to be joining the leftist faction that is attempting to silence the people’s talk-radio. Another example of a worm turning?

The power-elites from both US political parties seem insistent upon ignoring the will of the American people and, somewhat inexplicably, members of their own respective voting constituencies. And they are affecting said ignoring with great vigor and enthusiasm—while calling those that brought them to the dance rude and unsupportable nasty names! Guess the new strategy of the good ol’ boys and girls on both sides of the political aisle is now: “Kick ‘em in the face if they don’t support us! After all, they’re only voters and they sure don’t make as much money as we do!”

As legal American citizens have come together on this all-important issue of national security—protecting our borders—politicians have become enraged. And these same politicians are now working against us! We stopped them this time but, it will require all of us engaging in eternal vigilance to ensure attempts aren’t made to sneak amnesty and open borders through again. And recent past history should tell us all that they will surely try again.
