Obama Conned Voters, Van Jones and Valerie Jarrett Are "His People"
The exposure of Van Jones and Valerie Jarrett is exciting, but don't let it distract from the main problem--Obama's radicalism--by disgusting detail about some of his minions.
Michelle Malkin is right: (1) "Knowledge is power"; (2) "Sunlight is the best disinfectant"; and (3) "It’s working."
It didn't work before Election Day 2008, because the liberal mainstream media was campaigning for Obama instead of scrutinizing Obama and some covered up for him.
Obama was sold, by himself, his campaign, and the liberal mainstream media, as the candidate of hope and change and the post-racial candidate who would bring America together.
It was nonsense, but the sunlight was eclipsed.
Most voters accepted the notions that voting for Obama proved that the voter was not a racist and the rookie United States Senator with no military experience, no VISTA experience, no executive experience, a few years in the Illinois state senate and National Journal's designation as "the most liberal United States Senator" would make a great Chief Executive and Commander-in-Chief for predominantly center-right America.
It was absurd, but The New York Times sent out the word.
The New York Times and ABC were unwilling to expose the illicit cooperation between ACORN and the Obama campaign, despite ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief and her documentary evidence, and the whole liberal media establishment let Obama's blatant lie in the last presidential debate about his relationship to ACORN stand.
It is good news that Obamatons Van Jones and Valerie Jarrett finally have been publicly exposed as the dangerous radicals they are.
No thanks to the liberal mainstream media, of course.
"Indefatigable blogger Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit dug up the 9/11 Truther record of Green Jobs czar Van Jones — and his research spread across talk radio, the Internet, and to the Glenn Beck show tonight. (Update: Hoft reports that Jones’s Truther proclivities were showing back in 2002).
"A slew of bloggers, independent citizen journalists, and conservative activists have done the heavy lifting in exposing Jones’s inflammatory statements and radical ties over the last year — work that only conservative talk radio and Fox News have covered with due diligence. NakedEmperorNews/The BCast earlier today unearthed video of Jones ranting about Marxist 'revolution' away from 'gray capitalism'– also disseminated across Twitter, talk radio, and Fox News. The open-source 'Army of Davids,”' as blog pioneer Glenn Reynolds so aptly described it, is doing the job Obama didn’t want Congress to do."
The exposure of Van Jones and Valerie Jarrett is exciting, but don't let it distract from the main problem--Obama's radicalism--by disgusting detail about some of his minions.
Glenn Beck recently asked a key question--whether Obama's appointment of Jones was the result of incompetent vetting or not.
Beck seems pretty sure that the answer is "not," but he's not saying.
The redoubtable Ms. Malkin is not in doubt or hedging.
Ms. Malkin:
"Here is the key — and it is highlights a leitmotif that runs through my czar, cabinet, and nominee withdrawal chapters of Culture of Corruption: Obama czardom is the deliberate end-run around transparency. Van Jones did not just accidentally slip through the cracks of the Obama vetters. They knew what he espoused before they installed him.
"Take it from Obama’s own political godmother Michelle and Barack’s consigliere and Chicago powerbroker Valerie Jarrett took full credit at the nuttroots dKos blogger conference last month (August 15, 2009) for recruiting him and closely following his career:
JARRETT:. You guys know Van Jones? [Applause. Moderator injects: 'This is his house apparently.']
JARRETT: Oooh. Van Jones, alright! So, Van Jones. We were so delighted to be able to recruit him into the White House. We were watching him, uh, really, he’s not that old, for as long as he’s been active out in Oakland. And all the creative ideas he has. And so now, we have captured that. And we have all that energy in the White House.
"Jarrett, as I pointed out on Sean Hannity’s radio show five weeks ago, is the self-proclaimed keeper of Obama’s urban/racial 'authenticity.”' The Obamas don’t make a move without her, according to their closest friends and allies. Jarrett’s praise for Jones’s Oakland activism is explicit endorsement of his race-baiting career at Ella Baker, funded by the Soros-supported Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights/Ford Foundation/Rockefeller Foundation, and his Free Mumia agitation in the Bay Area schools — where he lambasted moderate civil rights leaders for objecting to politicizing the classrooms and where his pro-Mumia allies likened supporters of murdered police officer Daniel Faulkner to the KKK.
"But as I noted five weeks ago, the elites in the MSM are too busy penning 8,100-word love letters to Valerie Jarrett and her fashion sense to question her judgement, her crony deals, and power grabs in her role as the 'eyes and ears' for the Obamas.
"It’s the same blind and deaf media treatment they are giving Michelle Obama, John Holdren, David Axelrod, Carol Browner, Nancy DeParle, Adolfo Carrion, and on and on and on."
It's also "the same blind and deaf media treatment" given to Obama last year in order to put him in the White House and still provided by the liberal media establishment to keep him there to fundamentally transform America into a radical government-controlled "paradise"!
Ms. Malkin, celebratorily: "The Obama vetters have succeeded in short-circuiting congressional scrutiny and Washington oversight of unaccountable appointees over the last six months. No more. Quis custodes ipsos custodiet? Who is watching the watchdogs? John Q. Public. Do-it-yourself vetting is as easy as a Google search."
That's true.
But the truth needs to be made generally known in order to prevail.
What is most needed is not for Obama to throw Jones and Jarrett under the bus, as he did last year to his white grandmother and the man who supposedly brought him to God, Rev. Jeremiah A. "God damn America" Wright.
What is really needed is for Obama to be exposed as the manipulative radical he is and how he was put in the White House to be exposed.Obama to be exposed as the manipulative radical he really is.
Obama is NOT the fine young man Senator John McCain said he is at the Alfred E. Smith Dinner last year.
Cardinal Egan never should have conferred respectability on Obama by inviting him to that dinner.
Obama was "the Senator from ACORN" and his appointment of the likes of Jones and Jarrett is what ACORN (and anyone who knew what Obama really is) expected.
Michael J. Gaynor has been practicing law in New York since 1973. A former partner at Fulton, Duncombe & Rowe and Gaynor & Bass, he is a solo practitioner admitted to practice in New York state and federal courts and an Association of the Bar of the City of New York member.
Gaynor graduated magna cum laude, with Honors in Social Science, from Hofstra University's New College, and received his J.D. degree from St. John's Law School, where he won the American Jurisprudence Award in Evidence and served as an editor of the Law Review and the St. Thomas More Institute for Legal Research. He wrote on the Pentagon Papers case for the Review and obscenity law for The Catholic Lawyer and edited the Law Review's commentary on significant developments in New York law.
The day after graduating, Gaynor joined the Fulton firm, where he focused on litigation and corporate law. In 1997 Gaynor and Emily Bass formed Gaynor & Bass and then conducted a general legal practice, emphasizing litigation, and represented corporations, individuals and a New York City labor union. Notably, Gaynor & Bass prevailed in the Second Circuit in a seminal copyright infringement case, Tasini v. New York Times, against newspaper and magazine publishers and Lexis-Nexis. The U.S. Supreme Court affirmed, 7 to 2, holding that the copyrights of freelance writers had been infringed when their work was put online without permission or compensation.
Gaynor currently contributes regularly to www.MichNews.com, www.RenewAmerica.com, www.WebCommentary.com, www.PostChronicle.com and www.therealitycheck.org and has contributed to many other websites. He has written extensively on political and religious issues, notably the Terry Schiavo case, the Duke "no rape" case, ACORN and canon law, and appeared as a guest on television and radio. He was acknowledged in Until Proven Innocent, by Stuart Taylor and KC Johnson, and Culture of Corruption, by Michelle Malkin. He appeared on "Your World With Cavuto" to promote an eBay boycott that he initiated and "The World Over With Raymond Arroyo" (EWTN) to discuss the legal implications of the Schiavo case. On October 22, 2008, Gaynor was the first to report that The New York Times had killed an Obama/ACORN expose on which a Times reporter had been working with ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief.
