Will ACORN Favorites Obama, Gillibrand, Brown and Casey Be Reelected?

Paying close attention to the New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania Senate races is very important, because an ACORN Senate can become an ACORN president.

Voters take note: the idiom "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me" means that you should learn from your mistakes and not allow people to take advantage of you repeatedly.

ACORN'S NOT DEAD!

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch: "“...rumors of ACORN’s demise are vastly overstated. ACORN and its partner in crime Project Vote are both alive and well and operating across the country."

Project Vote (www.projectvote.org) has not even changed its name.

Fitton: "Given the corrupt activities of these organizations, there is no question they pose a threat to clean and fair elections in 2012. And the fact that the Obama Justice Department will take no action to address the corrupt activities of ACORN and its thinly disguised spinoffs is a scandal in and of itself.”

Exactly!

As The Examiner reported (www.examiner.com/article/obama-s-acorn-alums-mobilizing-for-2012-elections-1);

"The ACORN-affiliated groups existing today are ACORN in all but name. These groups tend to occupy ACORN’s former offices, are staffed in many cases with former ACORN employees, and remain committed to ACORN’s mission. Overall, Judicial Watch attorneys have documented 17 ACORN-affiliated organizations in the following states/regions: Arizona, Arkansas, California, District of Columbia, Florida, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, New England, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington." ACORN favorite President Barack Obama is seeking reelection and ACORN Senate favorites Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Sherrod Brown of Ohio and Bob Casey of Pennsylvania are seeking reelection too.

ACORN did not come up in the presidential debates.

It should have, but the moderators did not want to go there, President Obama prefers to look forward and Mitt Romney did not bring it up, probably because his advisers think that treating the President as honorable is the best strategy and Obama's ACORN ties and lies show him to be unfit to be President of the United States, but take time to explain.

ACORN has not come up in the New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania Senate races either. It should.

Like New York's Gillibrand, Ohio's Brown and Pennsylvania's Casey owe ACORN big time. In New York Republican/Conservative candidate Wendy Long has criticized Gillibrand's support of ACORN.

In the Why I Running part of Long's campaign website (www.wendylongfornewyork.com/why_i_m_running), Long states in pertinent part:

"Year after year, Senator Gillibrand, now ranked by National Journal as the #1 most liberal Senator in America - due in part to her vote as one of only seven Senators to continue funding the scandal-ridden ACORN organization with taxpayer dollars - and her elite liberal crowd in Washington treat the money we earn as theirs for the taking- even here in New York, one of the highest-tax states in America.

"This is intolerable."

Gillibrand largely owes her political success to ACORN. Its political party in New York, the Working Families Party, has supported her since her first race--for an upstate Congressional seat--and after her appointment to fill the seat previously held by Hillary Clinton, the ACORN political committee endorsed her for reelection in 2009. The result was that Gillibrand stood with ACORN when even New York's senior senator, Chucj Schumer, an honorary at ACORN's 39th and last gala in 2009, voted to defund it.

Unfortunately, Gillibrand's ACORN ties did not come up in the one hour-long debate that she deigned to do this year and she'd prefer root canal to another debate with Long.

Ironically, in the first woman-woman United States Senate race east of California, Gillibrand, still posing as a women's champion , is refusing to give Long even the same number of debates she agreed to with her male opponent in 2010--two.

That said, given Gillibrand's relationship with ACORN and the fact that sunlight is the best disinfectant, Gillibrand's keep away from debating Long strategy makes sense. The truth is damning.

Paying close attention to the New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania Senate races is very important, because an ACORN Senate can become an ACORN president.

Obama was first an ACORN Illinois state senator, then an Illinois United States Senator and finally an ACORN president of the United States.

ACORN expert Stanley Kurtz, in "Inside Obama's ACORN" (www.nationalreview.com/articles/224610/inside-obamas-acorn/stanley-kurtz) gave fair warning: "...if you’re looking for the piece of the puzzle that confirms and explains Obama’s network of radical ties, gather your Acorns this spring. Or next winter, you may just be left watching the 'President from Acorn' at his feast."

Don't blame Kurtz! He provided compelling evidence too.

For example:

"The extent of Obama’s ties to Acorn has not been recognized. We find some important details in an article in the journal Social Policy entitled, 'Case Study: Chicago — The Barack Obama Campaign,' by Toni Foulkes, a Chicago Acorn leader and a member of Acorn’s National Association Board. The odd thing about this article is that Foulkes is forced to protect the technically 'non-partisan' status of Acorn’s get-out-the-vote campaigns, even as he does everything in his power to give Acorn credit for helping its favorite son win the critical 2004 primary that secured Obama the Democratic nomination to the U.S. Senate.

"Before giving us a tour of Acorn’s pro-Obama but somehow 'non-partisan' election activities, Foulks treats us to a brief history of Obama’s ties to Acorn. While most press accounts imply that Obama just happened to be at the sort of public-interest law firm that would take Acorn’s 'motor voter' case, Foulkes claims that Acorn specifically sought out Obama’s representation in the motor voter case, remembering Obama from the days when he worked with [Madeline] Talbot. And while many reports speak of Obama’s post-law school role organizing 'Project VOTE' in 1992, Foulkes makes it clear that this project was undertaken in direct partnership with Acorn. Foulkes then stresses Obama’s yearly service as a key figure in Acorn’s leadership-training seminars.

"At least a few news reports have briefly mentioned Obama’s role in training Acorn’s leaders, but none that I know of have said what Foulkes reports next: that Obama’s long service with Acorn led many members to serve as the volunteer shock troops of Obama’s early political campaigns — his initial 1996 State Senate campaign, and his failed bid for Congress in 2000 (Foulkes confuses the dates of these two campaigns.) With Obama having personally helped train a new cadre of Chicago Acorn leaders, by the time of Obama’s 2004 U.S. Senate campaign, Obama and Acorn were 'old friends,' says Foulkes.

"...Chicago Acorn appears to have played a major role in Obama’s political advance. Sure enough, a bit of digging into Obama’s years in the Illinois State Senate indicates strong concern with Acorn’s signature issues, as well as meetings with Acorn and the introduction by Obama of Acorn-friendly legislation on the living wage and banking practices. You begin to wonder whether, in his Springfield days, Obama might have best been characterized as 'the Senator from Acorn.'”

Obama mentor Talbot was the head of Chicago ACORN and an ACORN national board member.

Claims to the contrary notwithstanding, ACORN chose to morph instead of to die.

New York ACORN is now New York Communities for Change.

Pennsylvania ACORN is now Pennsylvania Communities Organizing for Change.

ACORN withdrew from Ohio as part of a settement of a racketeering case before it filed for bankruptcy on Election Day 2010.

Apparently Brown didn't vote not to defund ACORN because it would have been futile and he planned to run for reelection.

Capital Research Center investigative reporter and ACORN expert Matthew Vadum, in "Sherrod Brown's ACORN Video Disappears Just in Time for the Election (www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/10/21/Brown-ACORN-video-disappears):

"When you’re America’s most liberal senator locked in a tight race with a conservative challenger, it’s always a good thing when a damning YouTube that shows you praising organized crime disappears.

"Hard-left Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) appears in a 2008 video praising the gangster group known by the acronym ACORN. In the video dated May 12, 2008, called 'ACORN Grassroots Democracy Campaign,' Brown praises the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now to the heavens:

I’ve met with ACORN lots of times in Ohio. They’re a terrific grassroots organization that is working to connect politics with working families and low-income people and there’s no higher calling than that as more low-income people are going to vote this year and help to change the direction of our country. […]

"Because ACORN is so articulate and so outspoken in advocating for low income people they bring an awful of people into politics to the voting booths who wouldn’t come otherwise.

"I had accessed the video on July 22, 2010 while I was working on the manuscript for my exposé of ACORN, Subversion Inc.: How Obama’s ACORN Red Shirts are Still Ripping Off and Terrorizing American Taxpayers, but now the 9-minute clip is locked. The video may only be viewed with the permission of the YouTube account holder. Visit the web address for the video and this message appears: 'This video is private. Sorry about that.' I saved the video and uploaded it here."

Thanks, Matthew. Voters, especially Ohio voters, need to see it. In 2010 Obama won the presidency because many voters did not know the extent of his ACORN ties and believed his ACORN lies, the liberal media establishment chose to support instead of scrutinize him and The New York Times spiked an Obama/ACORN expose sourced by ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief, rightly fearing that it could be a game changer. Never again!

This time vote for Mitt Romney, Wendy Long, Josh Mandel and Tom Smith instead of Obama, Gillibrand, Brown and Casey.
